This Super 400 is 1 of 2 handcarved by Rick Henrichson of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. See below Rick's words on the inspiration of this guitar.
"My version of a Gibson Master Museum L-7 originally created by Ren Ferguson. The original had a spruce top however these have flamed maple top and backs. The shield design is representative of a coat of arms with surrounding carvings being scrollwork and acanthus found in many forms throughout the centuries. Fingerboard and headstock inlays remain true to the original design. The neck heel carve flows with the beauty and grace of the artwork in that time period."

Tom Petty needs no introduction. Both solo and with his band the Heartbreakers, he created some of the most beloved and enduring music of the rock era. The original SJ-200 Wildflower was a one-off that was built for Tom during the Wildflowers era in the 1990s. Now Gibson is proud to release the Tom Petty SJ-200 Wildflower, which was inspired by Tom's original. Featuring all of the classic SJ-200 ornamentation you'd expect, it is equipped with a AAA Sitka spruce top, highly figured quilted maple back and sides, and the neck is flamed maple. It has gold Grover® Imperial® tuners, as well as an LR Baggs™ VTC under-saddle pickup with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, making it stage-ready, right out of the included custom Wildflower case. Personalized touches including the Wildflower logo in Mother of Pearl on the headstock, "You Belong Among the Wildflowers" lyric decal on the back of the headstock, and Tom Petty's signature engraved on the double pickguard make this a very special guitar. Only 100 will be handcrafted by the expert luthiers and craftspeople of the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana.
**This guitar is used but in good condition. Has one small finish scratch about 1.75" long on the lower edge of the top (see pictures).

Gibson is proud to celebrate their rich musical legacy with the return of the Everly Brothers J-180 to the core Custom Shop Artist model lineup. Featuring a maple body and Sitka spruce top, the Everly Brothers J-180 is replete with all of the decorative details that make the Gibson Everly Brothers models instantly recognizable, including an Ebony gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, double tortoise moustache pickguards designed in cooperation with the Everly Brothers, and mother of pearl star inlays on the headstock and neck. First introduced in 1960, the Gibson Hummingbird™ is one of the most distinctive and well-loved acoustic guitars ever made. Handcrafted with care in Bozeman, Montana, by Gibson's expert acoustic luthiers, the new Gibson Hummingbird Special offers players a USA-built Gibson Hummingbird model at a very attractive price. The Hummingbird Special has a traditional square-shouldered body constructed using genuine solid mahogany for the back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top that is reinforced with our traditional scalloped X-bracing. This combination of tonewoods delivers a warm, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that is perfect for any style of music. The "concert depth" body is slightly thinner than the body on a Hummingbird Standard, giving it a leaner and tighter bass response that sits perfectly in the mix and also makes it easier to hold. The utile neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint, and like all Gibson acoustic guitars, it is affixed with hot hide glue. The neck has a comfortable Round profile, and the rosewood fretboard has a 12" radius and features pearloid parallelogram inlays, which is one of the visual hallmarks that makes the Hummingbird easily recognizable. The fretboard is fitted with 20 standard frets. The traditional belly-up rosewood bridge is equipped with a TUSQ® saddle, and the nut and bridge pins are also TUSQ. High-quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability. The pickguard features a simplified version of the world-famous Hummingbird pickguard graphics. The Hummingbird Special is finished in satin nitrocellulose lacquer in our choice of Satin Vintage Cherry Sunburst and Satin Wine Red. It comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs ™M Element Bronze under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp with an easilv accessible soundhole-mounted volume control, so it's stage and studio-ready from the moment vou take it out of the included premium soft shell case.

Gibson's Les Paul™ is one of the all-time great electric guitar designs and has been played by some of the world's most talented and best-loved musicians. With its single-cutaway mahogany body and often flamed maple top, the look of the Les Paul is iconic. In the past, Gibson has produced acoustic versions of the Les Paul; first, from 1969 until 1973, in the form of a Jumbo cutaway model, and from 2000 to 2003, Gibson Custom made a solidbody-style Les Paul Acoustic. Now, Gibson is proud to introduce the Les Paul Parlor Acoustic. It features a smaller, parlor-sized body that is reminiscent of a scaled-down SJ-200™M in overall shape. The back and sides of the Les Paul Parlor Acoustic are made from solid mahogany, while the bookmatched top is supported by traditional scalloped X-bracing and is made from solid AAA flame maple. Both the top and back feature single-ply cream binding. The top is every bit as gorgeous as the bookmatched tops you'll find on many of our electric models, and as with the electrics, the maple adds a bit of bite and note definition to the warm tone from the mahogany body. The mahogany neck has a comfortable and fast-playing Advanced Response profile that's neither too beefy nor too slim and is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard that has a 12" radius, is equipped with 19 standard frets, and is adorned with pearloid trapezoid inlays. The neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint. The rosewood bridge is installed in a belly-down orientation, and the nut, saddle, and bridge pins are all TUSQ®. The TUSQ nut and saddle, along with the nickel-plated Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, help ensure the tuning stays where you set it so you can spend more time playing and less time tuning. The single-ply cream pickguard's shape was inspired by the pickguards used on Les Paul Standard electric guitars and further reinforces the Les Paul aesthetic, as does the mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and gold Les Paul Model decal on the headstock. The Les Paul Parlor Acoustic comes factory-equipped with an L.R. Baggs™ VTC+4 under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp with stealthy yet easy-to-access soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, so it's plug-and-play ready from the moment you take it out of the included modern hardshell case. Here's your opportunity to own a high-quality, great-sounding Gibson acoustic guitar that matches the aesthetic of your Gibson Les Paul Standard. It's the perfect pairing and is available now at your local Gibson dealer and at the Gibson Garage.

The music of multiple award-winning artist Margo Price transcends the boundaries of traditional country, Americana, and classic rock, and her Gibson J-45™ acoustic has always been by her side during her rise as a top country artist. Gibson Custom's Margo Price J-45 embodies the spirit, vision, and talent that has driven Margo to stardom and continues the nature-themed model tradition of Gibson. The Margo Price J-45 was inspired by her mid-60s J-45, a guitar she's called "my main baby; my guitar I play all the time." The Margo Price J-45 features a slightly thinner mahogany body with a red spruce top with traditional hand-scalloped advanced X-bracing, a mahogany neck with a Rounded profile and rosewood fretboard, and Grover® strap tuners with white buttons. The nut and saddle are bone, and the bridge pins are TUSQ®. The Margo Price J-45 also comes equipped with L.R. Baggs electronics, so it's studio and stage-ready right out of the included hardshell case. Margo was also inspired by red-tailed hawks, which feature prominently on the distinctive double 50s-style pickguards of her new signature guitar. As Margo says, "Red-tailed hawks have always been symbolistic to me. I see them everywhere, and I always have, as they are common all over the United States, but to me, they are otherworldly, and they always come to me in my time of need with messages of strength and perseverance. Red, as a color, relates to love, passion, and even anger, matters that we typically would associate with the heart, but if you look closely, the ends of the feathers are dipped in white, and the bird itself has a spiritual nature to them. When I'm on long road trips, I look out the window and count them alongside the highway. They pass over me at the most kismet times, reminding me to find strength in my vulnerability and to open up and connect to those around me. I hope this guitar will remind those who play it these lessons as well."
