La Baye 1967 2x4 12-String Electric Guitar - Candy Apple Red VINTAGE

La Baye

Debuted at the 1967 Summer NAMM Show in Chicago, these unique guitars are not particularly in demand upon their release. The musicians at hand were not interested in playing a 2x4 shaped 12-String electric guitar. Maybe 1967 was their wrong time period to release this rare instrument. Yes, this is considered to be a rare find. Rare does not mean this guitar was a bad guitar or not made well, but mostly that there were not many of these fine instruments made. This is rare in that fact that there may only be a hand full of these instruments left, or maybe even just a hand full of these instruments ever produced.
The color is strikingly Candy Apple Red, and the vintage 2x4 shaped hardshell case only adds to the unique vibe of this rare 12-string electric guitar.
This is an excellent example of an early version of the La Baye 2x4 12-String.
