During the mid-70s, Mossman was consistently making high quality, hand built guitars. The pride of craftsmanship shows, as each employee who worked on the guitar signed their initials on the label. They have stood the test of time and are still considered outstanding guitars. This guitar is in very nice condition with nicely grained two piece mahogany back and sides, solid Sitka spruce top, marquetry top binding and soundhole rosette, ebony fingerboard with pearl dots, nickel hardware, an ebony bridge, and 1 11/16 inch bone nut. Built in the original Winfield, KS shop. Finish and hardware is all original with no repairs noted. It is 43 years old so it shows some battle scars (but not many). The guitar sounds great so it was played. It shows some nicks, dings, playing wear and finish checking as this guitar was used to make music.
Comes with the original blue lined hardshell case.
