Martin D-Robert Goetzl 1 Hand Painted HD-28 Acoustic Guitar - Hops And Barley

At the request of Chris Martin, artist Robert Goetzl was commissioned to design a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork and hand paint it on the top of a Dreadnought style guitar, specifically an HD-28. Unlike the many art guitars offered by the company, which are printed with custom artwork using a state-of-the-art Mamaki printer, this guitar is available for purchase with artwork that is hand-painted directly on the soundboard. The Hops and Barley theme was a suggestion made by Tim Teel, Martin’s Lead Instrument Designer, who also selected a new sinker redwood, which came from a river in the North Western United States, as Goetzl’s canvas. The sinker redwood top is paired with high-figured black walnut back and sides, and the combination produced a light-weight guitar with a responsive and rich sustain that is great for both fingerstyle and strumming. This one-of-a-kind instrument is as beautiful to see as it is to hear.

This Martin DJR-10E acoustic-electric bass is ideal if you love to write and practice on an unplugged bass but also need the option to plug it in to record or play live with your band. It includes a spruce top and sapele back and sides to deliver thumping Martin bass tones, whether you are unplugged or using the built-in Fishman® electronics.
