Inspired by the historic “Rex” line of instruments offered by mail-order catalog in the 1930s, ‘40s and ’50s, Jim Dandy™ models embody the charm and spirit of those early Gretsch® flat-top guitars with the superior playability and best-in-class tone that their namesake suggests.
Featuring a petite and portable parlor body shape and a short 24“ scale length, the Jim Dandy™ Deltoluxe™ Parlor punches above its weight with a distinct tonal clarity and throaty midrange for which parlor guitars are so beloved.
The X-braced body is crafted with select lightweight laminate tonewoods for an optimal balance of woody vintage tone and reliable durability, while the “C”-shape neck presents an inviting feel for hours of old-timey inspiration. The onboard Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic soundhole pickup produces versatile electrified acoustic tone, providing added utility for live performance, recording, and effects pedals. Based on Bob Marley’s at-home, songwriting guitar, the Guild A-20 Marley is a worthy tribute to the reggae legend. Many of Marley’s hits through the seventies were written on his Guild Madeira acoustic guitar. The A-20 Marley reintroduces Marley’s beloved dreadnought to the world along with a few modern appointments. Built with a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides, the full-bodied and powerful tone of this dreadnought provides Marley fans and songwriters alike with an easy-to-play, well-balanced acoustic guitar. The C-shaped neck with 25 ½” scale length allows for a relaxed and comfortable feel. Unique features include a vintage-correct, flat, round-cornered headstock with vintage Guild script logo, custom pickguard with Bob Marley signature, and a MARLEY script inlay on the 12th fret. Additional features include a pau ferro fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and a matte polyurethane finish. Available in Natural. As a continuation of Bob Marley’s love for music and planet, the guitar includes a premium Marley X Guild gig bag made from recycled nylon. The BT-258E Deluxe 8-string Baritone offers a melodic layering of low-end harmony for enchanting , harp like sound. Combining Guild's historically large jumbo body shape and their legacy of pressed back construction, the BT-258E Deluxe boasts a deep, full-frequency baritone voice complemented by two octave strings for added sparkle. the arched rosewood back projects whole low-frequencies, while the solid spruce top ensures the high-frequency octave strings blend in gorgeously for a symphonic tone. The low end is great for playing in an ensemble or for playing standalone. This 8-string baritone is tuned B-E-a-A-d-D-F#-B, five steps down from a standard guitar. Deluxe appointments include rosewood back and sides, bound neck and body, Fishman GT-1 pickup system, and a perfectly glossed polyurethane finish.

Guild D-55E ATB Acoustic Guitar - Antique Burst

First introduced in 1968 as a special-order top-of-the-line model, the D-55 was so well-received that Guild added it into the regular production line by 1974. Famously played by Tommy Smothers on the Smothers Brothers Show in the 1960s, the D-55 grew in both popularity and longevity over the decades, finding homes in the hands of more contemporary artists like Waylon Jennings, Billie Joe Armstrong, and David Nail. The most anticipated return of a Guild acoustic to date, the 2017 Guild D-55 is back and better than ever. The D-55 remains true to all the premium appointments of its 1968 predecessor, including a AAA Sitka spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and nitrocellulose finish. Internal refinements include scalloped Adirondack bracing as well as an improved dovetail neck-joint, hand fit to make this generation of D-55 the lightest, loudest, and best-sounding yet. The D-55 showcases Guild’s most recognizable headstock which is fully bound and features the Guild “Peak and Shield” inlay combination over a figured ebony overlay. The matching ebony fingerboard is also fully bound and inlayed with Guild’s iconic abalone/pearl “V-Blocks” and multi-line “railroad track” purfling on the bass and treble sides. The D-55’s fingerboard is set on an all-mahogany neck with beautiful walnut center seam running the length of the heel to headstock. The D-55’s nitro finish is available in natural or Antique Burst and is hand sprayed for minimum thickness and maximum resonance that will only get better with age. An LR Baggs pickup system is available as an option, and each guitar includes a hand-signed certificate of authenticity and ships with Guild’s Premium humidified hardshell case.
