The Fender Stories Collection pays tribute to legendary musicians and their modified Fender guitars.
With recording credits stretching across five decades, Brent Mason is one of the most prolific session guitarists of all time, featured on well over 1,000 albums, including hits by Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, George Jones, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, Shania Twain and many more. He’s also been inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame, won a Grammy, earned twelve Guitarist of the Year awards from the Academy of Country Music, is a two-time winner of the CMA® Award Musician of the Year Award and was named one of the top ten session guitarists of all time by Guitar World magazine.
The Stories Collection Brent Mason Telecaster recreates the prized Tele he discovered in a Nashville guitar shop in the early eighties: a ‘67 model that had been stripped of its original finish and re-sprayed in gray auto primer. Brent outfitted it with new pickups and controls, as well as a bender system – transforming it into a versatile all-in-one session guitar.
Boasting a Glaser Bender system, Seymour Duncan mini-hum in the neck position, Hot Stack in the middle and Vintage Stack in the bridge, locking Sperzel tuners and Dunlop locking strap buttons – the Brent Mason Telecaster provides the special features, smooth playability and diverse range of tones to nail Brent’s platinum Nashville session sound.
Includes deluxe hardshell case.

Night after night the Foo Fighters' Chris Shiflett carves his way through a full brigade of guitar tones on the biggest, loudest stages in the world. This tour-tested son-of-a-gun is named "The Cleaver" for a reason - it positively slashes through the mix with a voice that snarls dirty as well as it sings clean. Previously available only as a Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Artist offering, we're proud to announce the Chris Shiflett Cleaver Telecaster® Deluxe—a stripped-down rock machine built for high-octane live performance.
A resonant alder body lays the perfect foundation for bone-rattling, stadium-ready tones. Dressed up in a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this alder body also has a "belly cut” for superior comfort during the longest sets. Built for speed, the 25.5” scale maple neck features a 12” radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets for fiery leads and silky bends. Pearloid block inlays add a touch of unexpected class to this Tele® - it's a workhorse, but that doesn't mean it can't look good. The real magic lies in the pickups: two Custom Chris Shiflett "Cleaver" Noiseless™ CS-90 pickups pair powerful output with the throaty midrange punch and singing highs of a vintage single coil, all without hum. The "F"-style tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree with nylon spacer keep things in tune through marathon sets, while the string-through body hardtail bridge enhances resonance and sustain.
With its workhorse build, versatile voice and road-tested design, the Chris Shiflett Cleaver Telecaster® Deluxe is a must-have for guitarists who demand dynamic, uncompromising tone. Plug in and carve your own path through anything, anywhere.

George Fullerton went to work for his close friend, Clarence "Leo" Fender, on Feb. 2, 1948, at the Fender® Electric Instrument Co. on Pomona Ave. in Fullerton, Calit. He became Leo Fender's right-hand man and, as such, played a pivotal role in the design and manufacture of then-revolutionary instruments and amplifiers that went on to rule the world. The Telecaster® guitar. The Precision® Bass guitar. The Bassman® amp And of course, the Stratocaster® guitar.
1957 was a benchmark year for the Stratocaster. The model had evolved quickly since its debut three years earlier, and 1957 was the year during which, many agree, the Stratocaster truly came into its own as an archetypal instrument, the year that a startlingly original design began to truly assert its role not only as a musical force, but also as a cultural icon that both fueled and reflected ages to come
Now, exactly 50 years later, the Fender Custom Shop is thrilled to say "Welcome home" to George Fullerton, whose legacy is honored with this very special instrument- one on which Mr. Fullerton himself has collaborated with our skilled Master Builders-The Limited Edition George Fullerton 50T Anniversary 1957 Stratocaster guitar.
Together with its accompanying Relic Tweed Pro Jr. IM amplifier, this instrument evokes the sheer devotion to craftsmanship and pioneering 1950s spirit of Fender; a spirit that George Fullerton personally helped found and foster, and a legendary guitar that he personally had an invaluable hand in creating. It is our fond and sincere hope that you enjoy playing this instrument as much as we enjoyed creating it with Mr. Fullerton.
