The Les Paul Music City Special - 50th Anniversary is an updated, modern twist on two historical Gibson models, taking much of its inspiration from the 70s-era Marauder that was designed by Bill Lawrence, with a touch of the Music City Jr. in its DNA. Over the years, the Marauder has been used by artists from Adam Jones to Paul Stanley. This unique commemorative model pays tribute to the early days of Gibson's Nashville production and celebrates Gibson's 50 years of producing world-class guitars in Music City while delivering outstanding value to modern players. The lightweight, contoured body is solid poplar. The maple neck has a fast-playing and comfortable Slim Taper ™ profile and is equipped with a striped ebony fretboard that is adorned with acrylic dot inlays and outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets. The 12" fretboard radius makes first-position chords and string bends higher up the fretboard equally effortless. The hardware is chrome-plated, including the Nashville Tune-O-Matic ™ bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners, and output jack plate cover. A black 5-ply pickguard holds two Gibson 70s Tribute humbucker ™ pickups, which are wired to an intuitive and comfortable control layout consisting of master volume and master tone controls with black Top Hat knobs and a three-way pickup selector toggle switch. A premium soft shell case is included to keep the Les Paul Music City Special - 50th Anniversary safe when stored or in transport. The Les Paul Music City Special - 50th Anniversary is available in Ebony, Wine Red, and Tobacco Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes, and each has a commemorative 50th Anniversary truss rod cover. The Les Paul Music City Special - 50th Anniversary model is limited to only 500 instruments in each of the three colors, so make sure you get your favorite while you still can!

The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble delivers all of the features and performance of our regular Les Paul Standard 50s models but with even more vintage appeal. These limited-run Les Paul models differ from our standard Les Paul Standard 50s models in two respects. First, the Burstbucker™M 1 and Burstbucker 2 pickups are left uncovered, and each has Double Classic White bobbins and is fitted with the standard Alnico 2 magnets. The second difference is in the finish. The finish colors are "Vintage" variations on our standard nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. Our standard gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes represent the finishes on brand-new models from the 1950s, while the full-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer Vintage finishes on the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble models are slightly faded when compared to the standard versions, like the subtly faded light vintage aging that occurs over several years. The burst patterns vary somewhat from guitar to guitar since each is individually hand-sprayed.
Of course, all of the standard features that make the Les Paul Standard 50s models so widelv loved are all still here, including a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body with an AA figured maple top and a rounded 50s Vintage-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and trapezoid inlays. The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble is equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic ™M bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and aged gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers. The uncovered, calibrated Burstbucker ™M 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are internally the same as their standard Burstbucker counterparts, with the exception of the Double Classic White bobbins. They are handcrafted in the Gibson Pickup Shop, loaded with Alnico 2 magnets, and hand-wired with audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. The Double Classic White pickup bobbins and Vintage finishes combine to give the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble an elegant vintage vibe. While they have a vintage-style finish and an accessible price, production is limited to only 500 guitars in each color, meaning there's limited availability, so act fast and get your favorite now while you still can!

We designed the Les Paul™ Studio Figured Top to be the type of guitar you won’t want to put down: it’s a perfect musical companion, no matter what style of music you play. The one guitar you’ll be able to rely on every time and will find yourself reaching for again and again. For years, the Les Paul Studio has been the choice of countless guitarists who appreciate the combination of the essential Les Paul features–humbucking pickups, a glued-in, set neck, and a mahogany body with a maple cap–at an accessible price and without some of the flashier and more costly cosmetic features of higher-end Les Paul models.
The Les Paul Studio Figured Top is a refreshed and improved version of the Les Paul Studio and is better and more versatile than ever. It features an Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body, making it lighter and more comfortable to play. The carved, AA figured maple cap not only looks great but also adds brightness and definition to the overall tone and combines perfectly with the warmth and midrange punch from the mahogany body for that legendary Les Paul sound that has been featured on countless hit recordings and concert stages worldwide for decades. The glued-in mahogany neck provides solid coupling between the neck and body for increased resonance and sustain. The neck features a traditional heel and an easy-playing SlimTaper™ profile, and it is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard equipped with acrylic trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. The 12” fretboard radius makes playing chords and lead string bending equally effortless without worrying about string bends fretting out. The classic Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons add to the guitar’s vintage-inspired visual appeal, and together with the fully adjustable aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, lightweight aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Graph Tech® nut, help to keep the tuning stability rock-solid.
The Les Paul Studio Figured Top is also well-equipped in the electronics department. It has a pair of Gibson’s Burstbucker™ Pro pickups and a three-way pickup selector switch that allows you to use the pickups individually or use them together. Each pickup is wired to individual volume controls, so you can blend the sound from the two pickups in any ratio you choose. Each volume control has a push/pull switch for coil tapping, giving you two different sounds from each pickup, and each pickup also has an individual tone control for even more sonic versatility. The endless tonal possibilities, exceptional sustain, resonance, and comfortable playability make the Les Paul Studio Figured Top the one guitar you can rely on for any musical genre or scenario. The Les Paul Studio Figured Top is the essential Les Paul, refined and updated for today’s players.

Born Iris Coleen Summers on July 7 , 1924 , Mary Ford was an accomplished guitarist, vocalist , and actress who was among the biggest recording artists of the early 1950s. Through her career in country music and her connections with Gene Autry and Eddie Dean , she developed a musical partnership with Gibson icon Les Paul that led to their marriage in 1949. In 1951 alone , the duo sold over six milion records, and between 1950 and 1954, they recorded a string of 16 top-ten hits that showcased Mary's rich, smooth voice, complex, perfectly executed harmonies that she sang along with herself through multi-track recording and overdubbing (a groundbreaking recording technique for the time), and versatile guitar playing that seamlessly blended country, jazz, and pop. In 1951, Mary and Les influenced the design of the ES-295 hollowbody with a custom order, which Mary often used. In 1958, it is believed that one Les Paul Goldtop model with an ES-295-style floral pickguard and matching armrest was made at the request of Mary Ford. Now, Gibson is proud to release the Mary Ford Les Paul Standard, based on that one-of-a-kind original. The Goldtop finish is accented by a Vintage Cherry back - rarity for a goldtop model. In addition to the cream and gold floral pickguard and armrest, it also features a mahogany body with a maple cap, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard and SlimTaper profile, and is powered by a pair of Burstbucker pickups, with a Burstbucker 2 in the neck position and a Burstbucker 3 in the bridge position. A hardshell case completes this offering that honors one of the most beloved and innovative artists of the 20th century.

The newly refreshed Gibson SG Modern incorporates many contemporary updates that players have embraced and it’s much more than a classic “solid guitar”; it’s a hybrid between an SG and a Les Paul. Shaped and scarfed like a classic SG, the body is crafted with a AA maple top and mahogany back, characteristic of a Les Paul. This combination is renowned for its resonance and sustain. The genuine ebony, 24 fret compound radius fingerboard and asymmetrical, slim taper neck allow fast and silky access to the highest frets. A pair of calibrated BurstBucker Pro Alnico V humbuckers deliver fire power and the push-pull controls allows you to switch between the Gibson humbucker and the single coil P90 sounds, both of which have defined so many genres of music across multiple generations since we invented them. Upscale appointments include genuine mother of pearl inlays, Grover Rotomatic tuners, and clear top hat knobs.
