A Hard-Rocking Tribute to Slash's Number One Stage Guitar
Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver fans will undoubtedly be familiar with the guitar that Slash named “Jessica.” Jessica has been Slash’s main stage guitar since 1988. The original Jessica was a factory second and one of two Les Paul™ guitars that Gibson sent to Slash in the late 80s. Now Gibson is proud to introduce a new model based on Slash’s old favorite. Jessica features a three-piece plain maple top on a non-weight-relieved mahogany body and a mahogany neck with a 50s Vintage neck profile. Jessica is powered by a pair of Custom Burstbucker™ pickups with Alnico 2 magnets that are hand-wired to Orange Drop® capacitors. Originally a bright Cherry Sunburst, Slash had Jessica refinished, which is reflected, minus the considerable road wear on the original, in the gloss nitrocellulose Honey Burst with Red Back finish used on the new model. Slash’s signature is reproduced on the truss rod cover, and Schaller Strap Locks are preinstalled on the guitar. Other extras include a Slash pick set, a USA leather strap, a multi-tool, and a blank truss rod cover in the included hardshell case.

And while his innovative tuning and playing styles were a major part of his monstrous tones, a heavily-modified 1964 Gibson SG was at the center of it all. Now Gibson USA has made a guitar based on the iconic original that launched countless heavy riffs, with a mahogany body, bound mahogany neck with a rounded profile, Indian rosewood fretboard with 22 frets, a Graph Tech® nut, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with contemporary style buttons, and chrome-covered P-90 pickups. A reproduction of Tony's "Monkey" sticker is included in the case, along with two longer intonation adjustment screws in case you need additional adjustment range. A left-handed version is also available.

Crafted for limitless self-expression, it carries the DNA of the original versions with enhanced features such as refined body contours, improved weight and balance, and an Explorer headstock. The Victory Figured Top has a 25.5" scale length, and the mahogany neck has an ebony fretboard with a compound radius for enhanced playability, a SlimTaper profile, and 24 medium jumbo frets. The mahogany body has a Tune-O-Matic bridge, a Stop Bar tailpiece, and a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The highly flexible electronics include two 80s Tribute humbucker pickups wired to push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and inner/outer coil selection when the coils are split, which, along with the three-way pickup selector switch, deliver a wide range of humbucking and single coil tonal options with a minimum amount of controls. A Gibson hardshell case is also included.
