Godin is proud to present the redesigned A5 Ultra Natural Fretless Semi-Acoustic Bass! An instrument that remains true to Godin’s high-quality build and design innovation standards.
The semi-acoustic A5 bass is outfitted with a two-chambered Canadian Laurentian Basswood body, Solid Spruce top, Hard Rock Maple neck, and Richlite fingerboard. The A5 is also equipped with a top-mounted thumb rest to ensure a comfortable playing position.

An iconic shape at an affordable price, Guild’s Starfire I Bass is a modern adaptation of the traditional Starfire Bass platform, exemplifying the features needed on a modern Hollowbody bass. Featuring a slimmed down, 2.4” body thickness, inward-shifted neck, short 30 ¾” scale length, and a 1 ½” nut width, the Starfire I Bass is a compact and accessible option for younger players, or those who want more freedom on stage. Stable tuning and easy adjustability are provided by the Tune-o-matic bass bridge, and the harp tailpiece adds a touch of Guild’s classic aesthetic, likening the bass to its upright ancestors. Guild’s own BC-1 BiCoil pickups adorn the bass, complete with hum resistant nickel covers and Alnico 5 magnet construction. Combined with the woody nature of semi-hollowbody tone and the volume and tone control, these pickups allow the player to dial in anything from modern, cutting bass tones to wooly, round, vintage tones. Pull up on the Volume Knob to reveal the push-pull vintage switch—a feature that adds presence with rolled down low frequencies, reminiscent of the parallel pickup configuration on vintage Hollowbody basses. Available with maple top, back, and sides in Vintage Walnut, and with Mahogany top, back, and sides in cherry red. Left-handed version also available in Cherry Red. All in a perfectly glossed polyurethane finish.

With modern style, flexible tone and incomparable value, the Jackson® X Series Spectra Bass SBXQ IV takes the adventurous player on a bold bass odyssey, launching a commanding all-new entry in Jackson’s formidable neck-through-body bass lineup.
The offset Spectra Bass body style was innovatively designed with the gigging musician in mind. Its poplar body with rippling quilt maple top has a larger upper horn that evenly distributes weight throughout the instrument for perfect balance and playing comfort. The graphite-reinforced through-body maple neck with scarf joint creates formidable sustain, with a speed neck contour, 12"-16" compound radius bound laurel fingerboard and 24 frets for superior playability.
The SBXQ IV provides a full-sonic spectrum for even the most versatile and progressive bassists. Dual passive medium-output humbucking pickups create a dynamic foundation with punch, power and note articulation. Wide-ranging tonal command comes from a two-way toggle switch for pickup coil splitting, 3-band active EQ, blend control and volume control with push/pull selector to bypass or engage active circuit for the 3-band EQ. The push/pull selector eliminates the risk of losing sound due to a dead battery. A quick pull on the volume knob bypasses the active circuit, making it easy to regain sound from the bass without the use of battery power.
This four-string bass also features a HiMass™ hardtail bridge that enhances sustain and improves attack.
Budget friendly and loaded with value, the X Series Spectra Bass SBXQ IV comes in standout Amber Blue Burst with a unique 2x2 color matched headstock with understated “J” logo and black hardware.

This traditional Rickenbacker bass style with dot inlays and no binding was prized by Paul McCartney and Chris Squire when they got their first 4001S models in 1964. Players cherish its traditional look and rounded edges that many claim make it more comfortable than the 4003. The updated 4003S version comes with the improved dual trussrod system. Of course, the famous solid bass tones, ringing sustain and treble punch we’re known for make it a dream. It’s no wonder we’ve received a steady demand of requests to bring this back. This design was once exclusive to the British distributor Rose Morris in the six-ties. Iconic curves of maple form the body with a traditional Rosewood fingerboard. Dot inlays and no binding make this stand out from the standard 4003.
