However, some players underestimate this legendary guitar’s versatility. While this single-pickup solidbody electric guitar was designed initially as a student model, the number of different tones that are available simply by adjusting the position of the volume and tone knobs and the position of your picking hand is nearly unlimited. It has resulted in the enthusiastic embrace of the model by countless professional musicians across genres and generations. The Les Paul Junior Double Cut’s double cutaway body also offers unimpeded access to the entire length of the fretboard, including the upper frets, making it an excellent choice for lead guitarists, too.
The Les Paul Junior Double Cut features a slab, double-cutaway mahogany body, a mahogany neck with a fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile that is topped with a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and adorned with simple acrylic dot inlays. The wraparound bridge bolts straight into the body for exceptional sustain, while the Graph Tech® nut and Vintage Deluxe tuners with white buttons ensure rock-solid tuning stability. The single Dogear P-90 pickup in the bridge position is renowned for its ability to go from sweet and clean to aggressive and dirty with a twist of the master volume control. A single tone control with an Orange Drop® capacitor provides further tonal flexibility.

The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble delivers all of the features and performance of our regular Les Paul Standard 50s models but with even more vintage appeal. These limited-run Les Paul models differ from our standard Les Paul Standard 50s models in two respects. First, the Burstbucker™M 1 and Burstbucker 2 pickups are left uncovered, and each has Double Classic White bobbins and is fitted with the standard Alnico 2 magnets. The second difference is in the finish. The finish colors are "Vintage" variations on our standard nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. Our standard gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes represent the finishes on brand-new models from the 1950s, while the full-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer Vintage finishes on the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble models are slightly faded when compared to the standard versions, like the subtly faded light vintage aging that occurs over several years. The burst patterns vary somewhat from guitar to guitar since each is individually hand-sprayed.
Of course, all of the standard features that make the Les Paul Standard 50s models so widelv loved are all still here, including a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body with an AA figured maple top and a rounded 50s Vintage-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and trapezoid inlays. The Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble is equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic ™M bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and aged gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers. The uncovered, calibrated Burstbucker ™M 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are internally the same as their standard Burstbucker counterparts, with the exception of the Double Classic White bobbins. They are handcrafted in the Gibson Pickup Shop, loaded with Alnico 2 magnets, and hand-wired with audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. The Double Classic White pickup bobbins and Vintage finishes combine to give the Les Paul Standard 50s Double Trouble an elegant vintage vibe. While they have a vintage-style finish and an accessible price, production is limited to only 500 guitars in each color, meaning there's limited availability, so act fast and get your favorite now while you still can!

We designed the Les Paul™ Studio Figured Top to be the type of guitar you won’t want to put down: it’s a perfect musical companion, no matter what style of music you play. The one guitar you’ll be able to rely on every time and will find yourself reaching for again and again. For years, the Les Paul Studio has been the choice of countless guitarists who appreciate the combination of the essential Les Paul features–humbucking pickups, a glued-in, set neck, and a mahogany body with a maple cap–at an accessible price and without some of the flashier and more costly cosmetic features of higher-end Les Paul models.
The Les Paul Studio Figured Top is a refreshed and improved version of the Les Paul Studio and is better and more versatile than ever. It features an Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body, making it lighter and more comfortable to play. The carved, AA figured maple cap not only looks great but also adds brightness and definition to the overall tone and combines perfectly with the warmth and midrange punch from the mahogany body for that legendary Les Paul sound that has been featured on countless hit recordings and concert stages worldwide for decades. The glued-in mahogany neck provides solid coupling between the neck and body for increased resonance and sustain. The neck features a traditional heel and an easy-playing SlimTaper™ profile, and it is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard equipped with acrylic trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. The 12” fretboard radius makes playing chords and lead string bending equally effortless without worrying about string bends fretting out. The classic Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons add to the guitar’s vintage-inspired visual appeal, and together with the fully adjustable aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, lightweight aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Graph Tech® nut, help to keep the tuning stability rock-solid.
The Les Paul Studio Figured Top is also well-equipped in the electronics department. It has a pair of Gibson’s Burstbucker™ Pro pickups and a three-way pickup selector switch that allows you to use the pickups individually or use them together. Each pickup is wired to individual volume controls, so you can blend the sound from the two pickups in any ratio you choose. Each volume control has a push/pull switch for coil tapping, giving you two different sounds from each pickup, and each pickup also has an individual tone control for even more sonic versatility. The endless tonal possibilities, exceptional sustain, resonance, and comfortable playability make the Les Paul Studio Figured Top the one guitar you can rely on for any musical genre or scenario. The Les Paul Studio Figured Top is the essential Les Paul, refined and updated for today’s players.

This modern version captures the look and vibe of his original with only the features that Marcus finds essential, including mono wiring, a pair of Custombucker humbucker™ pickups, a fixed Vibrola™ tailpiece for improved tuning stability, and a stud anchor cover customized specifically for Marcus King. All of the standard ES-345 features that you’d expect are also present, including the 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body, solid maple center block for improved sustain and feedback resistance, and gold hardware, including an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with kidney buttons. The mahogany neck features a Rounded profile that averages .875” at the first fret and .975" at the 12th fret. The Indian rosewood fretboard is adorned with acrylic split parallelogram inlays and equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets. A Graph Tech® nut adds to the tuning stability, and the guitar is finished in classic Sixties Cherry. A Gibson hardshell case is included to keep the Marcus King ES-345 safe when it is stored or in transport.

Mark Morton is an American GRAMMY®-nominated musician who is the lead guitarist and one of the founding members of the groove metal band Lamb of God. Mark is best known for his bold and potent, yet melodic lead guitar playing that incorporates elements of groove metal, thrash, and death metal.
That same boldness is captured in the new Mark Morton Les Paul Modern Quilt. Mark’s new signature guitar features a striking AAA quilted maple top that is paired with a mahogany body with Ultra Modern weight relief that makes it a joy to play for hours on end. The mahogany neck has a SlimTaper™ profile and is equipped with a Modern Contoured Heel for exceptional access to the upper frets. The fretboard is ebony, has a compound radius, and is outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and adorned with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays. The Mark Morton Les Paul Modern Quilt is powered by a pair of Mark Morton signature humbucker™ pickups that were handcrafted by the Gibson Pickup Shop to deliver Mark’s signature sound. The rhythm pickup has moderate, Patent Applied For-class windings with a ceramic magnet for increased clarity and output, while the lead pickup has higher output windings with a ceramic magnet for increased presence and output. The pickups are connected to a three-way pickup selector switch and hand-wired to individual volume and tone controls, with Orange Drop® capacitors used for the tone controls.
The Mark Morton Les Paul Modern Quilt is finished in a smooth satin nitrocellulose lacquer, and the Translucent Ebony Burst Satin finish beautifully complements the AAA quilted maple top and is highlighted by multiple chrome hardware accents, including Grover® Rotomatic®, locking tuners with Keystone buttons, a chrome jack plate cover, black with chrome trim cover pickup mounting rings, and chrome pickup covers. The truss rod cover features a reproduction of Mark’s signature, and a pack of Mark’s signature Stringjoy strings is also included, along with a Gibson Accessory Kit, inside the included Modern hardshell case. The Mark Morton Les Paul Modern Quilt is limited to only 350 guitars, so act fast and get yours while they’re still available.
