Engineered for speed, comfort and full-throttle attitude, the reimagined 5150® Series DX is an iconic blast from the past that blends both throwback and modernized features.
Like its predecessor, the 5150 DX features a modified Strat®-style basswood body with a deeper upper body curve. The graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn baked maple neck features a comfortable modified "C" profile, hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish, heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel and "hockey stick" headstock with EVH® logo decal. Built for smooth and speedy playability, the 12"-16" compound radius baked maple fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays.
While the famed striped original had a single humbucking bridge pickup only, the all-new 5150 is outfitted with an HH pickup configuration controlled by a three-way toggle switch on the upper bout. The custom designed EVH® Wolfgang® Alnico 2 humbucking bridge pickup delivers the perfect amount of punch and articulation with sweet sustain and thick chunky rhythms in a perfectly balanced EQ curve. The EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucker neck pickup serves up no-nonsense, balls to the wall overdrive and endless sustain without skimping on articulate cleans when the volume is rolled down. A custom designed low friction volume knob creates even-volume tapering for the smoothest volume swells, while the high friction tone knob will stay in place even if accidentally bumped. An added new feature comes in the way of a lower bout kill switch, allowing you to mute your guitar for those stutter, rhythmic effects - think "You Really Got Me."
Decked out with a "dive-bomb" certified EVH-branded top-mount Floyd Rose® bridge, the locking tailpiece features fine tuners for each string and a patented EVH D-Tuna® for switching back and forth from drop-D to standard tuning in an instant.

In 2024, we will once again challenge the “norm” with the introduction of the SA-126 Special, Wolfgang Van Halen’s interpretation of what a modern guitar should be in the 21st century.
SA-126 is the very definition of innovation incarnate. It’s a hybrid between semi-hollow and solid body guitar: think chambered/center block solid body blended with a bolt-on neck, then kitted out with features most frequently associated with high performance guitar brands such as a slim neck, jumbo frets and higher output pickups. The brain child of Wolfgang Van Halen, the instrument was created with versatility in mind, striking the perfect balance between pummeling rhythm tones and lightning-fast lead runs.

The original guitar that launched the line, the EVH Wolfgang® USA unleashes pure, unadulterated rock 'n' roll power.
Since its launch in 2007, the EVH brand has had one mission—to take the tools Eddie Van Halen uses to create his groundbreaking guitar work and place them in your hands.
Over 35 years of innovation and experience were injected into the creation of the original Wolfgang USA, which continues to unleash pure unadulterated rock ‘n’ roll power, titanic sound, speedy playability and stunning spotlight-ready style.
“Everything that I’ve built, destroyed, stumbled onto, learned and experienced is in this guitar,” Eddie Van Halen said. “Every aspect and component of this guitar has been examined and upgraded to the highest standards possible: stainless steel frets, double-potted custom-wound pickups, five-piece binding on the matching body and headstock, custom-made signature tuning machines and Floyd Rose® bridge, new low-friction pots, and the list keeps going. We left no stone unturned.”
The Wolfgang USA features a basswood body with either an arched big-leaf maple or 5A flame maple top, bolt-on quartersawn maple neck with graphite reinforcement, 12”–16” compound radius ebony fingerboard with 22 vintage stainless steel frets and mother of pearl block inlays (dot inlays on Stealth), direct mount EVH Wolfgang USA zebra humbucking pickups, three-way toggle switching with reverse wiring, volume control with 500K EVH Bourns® low friction pot with treble bleed circuit, tone control with 250K EVH Bourns high friction pot, EVH-branded Floyd Rose® locking tremolo bridge with EVH D-Tuna® and EVH-branded Gotho® High Ratio die-cast tuners with white pearloid buttons.
Experience ultra-speedy plability, colossal sound and classic looks with the Wolfgang USA.
