First introduced in 1942, the Gibson J-45 ™ has remained a mainstay Gibson acoustic model. It has earned its name as "The Workhorse" due to its wide acceptance, no-nonsense simplicity, and understated elegance. It's one of the most recorded acoustic guitars in history and Gibson's best-selling acoustic model of all time. Handcrafted with care in Bozeman, Montana, by Gibson's expert acoustic luthiers, the new Gibson J-45 Special offers players a USA-built Gibson acoustic guitar at a very attractive price. The J-45 Special has a round shoulder body constructed using genuine solid mahogany for the back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top. The top is reinforced with our traditional scalloped X-bracing. This combination of tonewoods delivers a warm, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that is great for any musical genre. The "concert depth" body is slightly thinner than on a J-45 Standard, giving the J-45 Special a leaner and tighter bass response that sits perfectly in the mix and also makes it easier to hold. The utile neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint, and like all Gibson acoustic guitars, it is affixed with hot hide glue. The neck has a comfortable and fast-playing Slim Taper ™M profile, and the rosewood fretboard has a 12" radius and is adorned with simple mother-of-pearl dot inlays and is fitted with 20 standard frets. The traditional belly-up rosewood bridge is equipped with a TUSQ® saddle, and the nut and bridge pins are also TUSQ. High-quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuners ensure solid tuning stability. The J-45 Special is finished in satin nitrocellulose lacquer in vour choice of Satin Vintage Sunburst or Satin Wine Red. It comes with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle piezo pickup with active electronics and an easily accessible soundhole-mounted volume control pre-installed for studio-quality plug-and-play anywhere. The J-45 Special also comes with a premium soft shell case.

An updated full-bodied rosewood Workhorse with a gloss lacquer top that’s ready for the studio and stage
The J-45™ was first released in 1942. It became widely known as “The Workhorse” due to its no-nonsense simplicity and understated elegance. It is Gibson’s best-selling acoustic guitar model of all time and one of the most recorded acoustic guitars in history, and it has graced countless recordings and concert stages in the hands of artists across a wide range of genres. Now, Gibson is proud to introduce the updated J-45 Studio Rosewood. The J-45 Studio Rosewood is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, using all-solid tonewoods, including a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer-finished Sitka spruce top for wide dynamic range, playing responsiveness, and balanced tone. The satin nitrocellulose lacquer-finished rosewood used for crafting the back and sides delivers a bit more rich-sounding bass and sparkling treble overtones than the traditional mahogany-bodied J-45 models. The J-45 Studio Rosewood’s full-depth, round shoulder body ensures rich, deep tone and outstanding volume and projection. The J-45 Studio Rosewood is equipped with an Advanced Response profile and satin nitrocellulose lacquer-finished utile neck for smooth, easy playability. The Advanced Response neck profile sits in between some of the other Gibson neck profiles and is not too large or too thin but fits “just right” in the hand for many players. The rosewood fretboard has 20 standard-sized frets and is adorned with the simple mother-of-pearl dot inlays, one of the visual hallmarks of the iconic J-45. The fretboard’s 16” radius makes playing fast note runs easy and efficient, contributing further to the model’s excellent playability. You’ll find yourself reaching for this guitar again and again since playing it is so enjoyable. The headstock is equipped with smooth and precise Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines and a Graph Tech® TUSQ® nut for rock-solid tuning stability so you can spend more time playing and less time tuning. The saddle and bridge pins installed on the belly-up bridge plate are also TUSQ. The J-45 Studio Rosewood has an L.R. Baggs™ Element Bronze active under-saddle piezo pickup with a quick-to-access soundhole-mounted volume control for easy studio-quality plug-and-play anywhere. Packaged in a modern hardshell case for portability and protection, the J-45 Studio Rosewood is ready to join you wherever your music takes you.
Turn heads with the J-45™ Studio Walnut. Hand-built using solid walnut back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top, this updated J-45 Studio features a traditional body depth for warm, rich tone. The Advanced Response profile utile neck ensures smooth, easy playability. Available in Satin Natural and Satin Walnut Burst finishes (including a left-handed model), the J-45 Studio Walnut has an L.R. Baggs™ Element Bronze active under-saddle piezo pickup for studio-quality plug-and-play anywhere. Packaged in an included hardshell case for portability, this J-45 Studio Walnut is ready for the studio and the stage.

Jeff Beck is gone but never forgotten – widely considered one of the best guitarists in history, capable of playing virtually anything in his own unique, soulful style. And like Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton, Beck got his start playing the Yardbirds, making groundbreaking music on a ’59 Les Paul Standard, which he continued to use and share with the likes of Page and Keith Richards, as documented in many photographs.
The “YardBurst” is as indelible to Jeff Beck’s playing history as his Oxblood Les Paul. Its unique and highly identifiable traits include classic white bobbin humbuckers and a black single ply pickguard. This recreation is true to how it appeared during Jeff’s hallowed Yardbirds days, with a custom Murphy Lab aging treatment, a custom hardshell case, and case candy commemorating the life of the legend that is Jeff Beck.

The most popular Gibson small-body acoustic gets the Special treatment
First introduced in 1932, the L-00 has remained the most well-known and popular small-body acoustic model in Gibson’s illustrious history. The new L-00 Special is crafted by Gibson’s expert acoustic luthiers in Bozeman, Montana, and offers players a USA-built Gibson acoustic guitar at a very accessible price. The L-00 Special is constructed using genuine, solid mahogany for the back and sides and has a solid Sitka spruce top with our traditional scalloped X-bracing for a balanced tone with excellent dynamic range for a small-bodied acoustic. Both the top and back feature single-ply binding around the perimeter. The narrower waist of an L-00 body shape provides a focused and nuanced sound, naturally giving it a leaner and tighter bass response that sits perfectly in the mix. The tone is ideal for fingerstyle playing and blues and works very well for other genres and playing styles, too. The utile neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint, and like all Gibson acoustic guitars, it is affixed with hot hide glue. The neck has a comfortable and fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile, and the rosewood fretboard has a 12” radius and is adorned with simple mother-of-pearl dot inlays and is fitted with 19 standard frets. The closed slot rectangular rosewood bridge is equipped with a TUSQ® saddle, and the nut and bridge pins are also TUSQ. Smooth turning Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners ensure solid tuning stability. The L-00 Special is finished in satin nitrocellulose lacquer in your choice of Satin Vintage Sunburst or Satin Wine Red. It comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs™ Element Bronze active under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp with an easy-to-access soundhole-mounted volume control, so it’s stage and studio-ready from the moment you take it out of the included premium soft shell case.
