This one of a kind showpiece started as an Alligator Juniper tree salvaged after the Doce wildfire near Prescott, Arizona in 2013. The centuries old tree had been killed by the devastating blaze and eventually reclaimed.
Master Builder Shawn Greene secured a single slab of highly figured juniper and picked the most stunning sections for his projects. The parts were cut and carefully sanded, polished, then assembled and treated with a natural wax finish.
An unmistakably unique feature of this amp is the "live edge" treatment around the grille. Burnt bark, unsanded but hardened and sealed, frames the front of the amp. Heat blued hardware is mounted throughout, hinting at the furious fire that burned the wood. Other custom appointments include juniper green acoustic suede grille cloth, laser etched control panel, a hand made volume knob and juniper wood Fender logo.
Great tone comes from our hand wired all tube '57 Custom Champ circuitry, featuring Fender Vintage yellow tone capacitors and Schumacher transformers. an 8" speaker makes this amp the perfect size and output power for the discriminating collector's home or office.
This one of a kind stunner is available in 120W for North America - only one made. A custom shop badge on the rear panel and a signed certificate of authenticity signify this genuinely collectible fender amplifier.

George Fullerton went to work for his close friend, Clarence "Leo" Fender, on Feb. 2, 1948, at the Fender® Electric Instrument Co. on Pomona Ave. in Fullerton, Calit. He became Leo Fender's right-hand man and, as such, played a pivotal role in the design and manufacture of then-revolutionary instruments and amplifiers that went on to rule the world. The Telecaster® guitar. The Precision® Bass guitar. The Bassman® amp And of course, the Stratocaster® guitar.
1957 was a benchmark year for the Stratocaster. The model had evolved quickly since its debut three years earlier, and 1957 was the year during which, many agree, the Stratocaster truly came into its own as an archetypal instrument, the year that a startlingly original design began to truly assert its role not only as a musical force, but also as a cultural icon that both fueled and reflected ages to come
Now, exactly 50 years later, the Fender Custom Shop is thrilled to say "Welcome home" to George Fullerton, whose legacy is honored with this very special instrument- one on which Mr. Fullerton himself has collaborated with our skilled Master Builders-The Limited Edition George Fullerton 50T Anniversary 1957 Stratocaster guitar.
Together with its accompanying Relic Tweed Pro Jr. IM amplifier, this instrument evokes the sheer devotion to craftsmanship and pioneering 1950s spirit of Fender; a spirit that George Fullerton personally helped found and foster, and a legendary guitar that he personally had an invaluable hand in creating. It is our fond and sincere hope that you enjoy playing this instrument as much as we enjoyed creating it with Mr. Fullerton.

Hand wound in the Fender® Custom Shop by Master Pickup Winder, Josefina Campos, the Dual-Mag II Strat® pickups produce well-balanced tone with shimmering, clear highs and balanced, rich lows courtesy of a mix of alnico 2 and 5 magnets. Featuring unbeveled alnico 5 magnets from the low E through G and hand-beveled alnico 2 magnets for the B and high E. Each pickup is wrapped with copper shielding tape to reduce noise.
Featuring a custom stagger with a “low G” magnet that provides a smooth transition from the wound to plain strings. The alnico 5 beneath the G makes that string “sing” just right and the alnico 2 B&E magnets are slightly taller than vintage spec to help create string-to-string balance. The Dual Mag II Strat® pickup is quite faithful to its name with two magnets that give you one of the clearest, most well-balanced sounds you'll ever hear.

In 2024—the 70th anniversary year of the Stratocaster®—the Fender Custom Shop introduces a model that captures the look and tone of a Strat® from an especially distinctive and sought-after era: the Limited Edition 1964 L-Series Stratocaster®. Its two-piece select alder body wears a Heavy Relic® lacquer finish that beautifully imparts the look and feel of a mid-’60s Strat® that has endured decades of heavy wear and tear, in Three-Color Sunburst, Aged Daphne Blue, Aged Olympic White and Aged Sage Metallic Green.
Its rift-sawn maple neck is fashioned with a comfortably easy-playing 1963-style “C”-shaped profile, topped by a round-lam rosewood fingerboard with a compound radius (7.25” to 9.5”) 21 medium vintage (47095) frets and a bone nut. Classic Strat® tone of that period comes from three Custom Shop hand-wound ’64 Stratocaster® pickups (reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup for hum cancellation in switch positions 2 and 4) that deliver clear highs, well-balanced mids and tight lows, routed through five way switching and Vintage Modified #2 wiring with the Tone-Saver bleed circuit, which eliminates tone loss when volume is turned down.
Other premium features include a three-ply mint green pickguard, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners, wing string tree with tall metal spacer, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.

The “Wizard” amplifier built by Fender’s custom amp expert Jim Dolmage is a true pop culture memorabilia–using parts and materials from a vintage pinball machine. A showpiece that will appeal to guitar, pinball machine, movie memorabilia and Americana collectors alikeThe Wizard amplifier’s enclosure is constructed entirely from wood and metal recycled from the 40-year old Bally® pinball machine. The original vintage stenciled paintwork gives off an almost “carnival” atmosphere with a rattlesnake motif inside and out. The heavy plywood and metal trim lend a significant “attack” to the expressive sound of the ’57 Custom Pro-Amp circuitry, which is warmed up by the stout 15-inch Eminence® speaker.
This is the only one in the world!!
