Peace J-160E Specifications
The Gibson John Lennon J-160E Peace Acoustic-Electric Guitar is replica of Lennon's 1962 J-160E, which he used extensively in films and recordings. The reissue features an antique natural finish, laminated spruce top, ladder-top bracing, a P-90 pickup, authentic wood body binding, and a signature truss rod cover. It perfectly re-creates Lennon's Gibson axe as it appeared during 1969's Bed-In after stripping off the psychedelic paint job he commissioned in 1967. It's historically accurate right down to the strap based on the one John used. The original Gibson guitar is now displayed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and this re-creation is offered as a limited, numbered edition of 750.

The guitar that started the legacy of Gibson Jumbo acoustics. When Gibson released the Jumbo in 1934, it was larger than any other guitar Gibson offered, and it made for a remarkable instrument. Only built for two production years, these rare instruments quickly became artist favorites and best represent the Gibson sound heard by world-renowned artists and collectors. Thoughtfully recreated with a Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top, hot hide glue top bracing, mahogany back and sides, traditional 25'' scale length, and a historic-style V neck profile, the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop is proud to bring back a legend, the 1934 Jumbo.

During a time when cultural optimism was low, Gibson dreamed up a new line of "advanced" instruments; included in those models was the Advanced Jumbo. Due to low production numbers from 1936-1939, this model largely flew under the radar even though it was a supreme sounding and performing instrument. The Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop is pleased to once again offer the Gibson 1936 Advanced Jumbo, outfitted with a Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and premium Waverly tuners. The 1936 Advanced Jumbo brings back all the tone and prestige that made these such a sought-after instrument by artist and collectors.

One of the most fabled Gibsons of all time, the J-185 was originally released in 1951. Designed to be just slightly smaller in proportion to the larger SJ-200, the J-185 used similar appointments, Sitka spruce and maple back and sides for its construction. This Custom Historic 1952 J-185 is enhanced with a thermally aged Sitka spruce top and gorgeous flame maple back and sides. Sporting classic J-185 appointments including iconic Maltese crosses inlaid in mother-of-pearl on the open slot bridge, this is a rare model, but highly desired by artists and performers worldwide.

Fiery Australian-born guitarist Orianthi Panagaris has been knocking people out with her playing for over a decade and has played and collaborated with Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Carrie Underwood, and Richie Sambora, among others. Now she has a new Gibson signature model, and it's a knockout, too. Featuring an SJ-200 body with a AAA Sitka spruce top and flamed maple back paired with an ES-345 neck, it's definitely a bit different than a standard SJ-200. Other personal touches include an ebony fingerboard with new lotus neck inlays and a mother of pearl Orianthi O symbol on the headstock, gold Grover® Keystone tuners, a distinctive Cherry nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and an LR Baggs™ Orianthi Pickup System that was custom-voiced for Orianthi and features adjustable saturation and soundhole-mounted controls.
This Super 400 is 1 of 2 handcarved by Rick Henrichson of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. See below Rick's words on the inspiration of this guitar.
"My version of a Gibson Master Museum L-7 originally created by Ren Ferguson. The original had a spruce top however these have flamed maple top and backs. The shield design is representative of a coat of arms with surrounding carvings being scrollwork and acanthus found in many forms throughout the centuries. Fingerboard and headstock inlays remain true to the original design. The neck heel carve flows with the beauty and grace of the artwork in that time period."
Tom Petty needs no introduction. Both solo and with his band the Heartbreakers, he created some of the most beloved and enduring music of the rock era. The original SJ-200 Wildflower was a one-off that was built for Tom during the Wildflowers era in the 1990s. Now Gibson is proud to release the Tom Petty SJ-200 Wildflower, which was inspired by Tom's original. Featuring all of the classic SJ-200 ornamentation you'd expect, it is equipped with a AAA Sitka spruce top, highly figured quilted maple back and sides, and the neck is flamed maple. It has gold Grover® Imperial® tuners, as well as an LR Baggs™ VTC under-saddle pickup with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, making it stage-ready, right out of the included custom Wildflower case. Personalized touches including the Wildflower logo in Mother of Pearl on the headstock, "You Belong Among the Wildflowers" lyric decal on the back of the headstock, and Tom Petty's signature engraved on the double pickguard make this a very special guitar. Only 100 will be handcrafted by the expert luthiers and craftspeople of the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana.

One of Gibson's Most Distinctive Acoustic Instruments
The unmistakable Gibson Hummingbird is followed by the masses as one of the most remarkable acoustic guitars ever built. The new Hummingbird Original blends vintage appointments and today's modern, high-quality build construction. Outfitted with gold Gotoh Keystone tuners, double antiqued binding, a traditional Hummingbird truss rod cover, and a bone nut and saddle, it's available in Antique Natural or Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish.
First introduced in 1960, the Gibson Hummingbird™ is one of the most distinctive and well-loved acoustic guitars ever made. Handcrafted with care in Bozeman, Montana, by Gibson's expert acoustic luthiers, the new Gibson Hummingbird Special offers players a USA-built Gibson Hummingbird model at a very attractive price. The Hummingbird Special has a traditional square-shouldered body constructed using genuine solid mahogany for the back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top that is reinforced with our traditional scalloped X-bracing. This combination of tonewoods delivers a warm, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that is perfect for any style of music. The "concert depth" body is slightly thinner than the body on a Hummingbird Standard, giving it a leaner and tighter bass response that sits perfectly in the mix and also makes it easier to hold. The utile neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint, and like all Gibson acoustic guitars, it is affixed with hot hide glue. The neck has a comfortable Round profile, and the rosewood fretboard has a 12" radius and features pearloid parallelogram inlays, which is one of the visual hallmarks that makes the Hummingbird easily recognizable. The fretboard is fitted with 20 standard frets. The traditional belly-up rosewood bridge is equipped with a TUSQ® saddle, and the nut and bridge pins are also TUSQ. High-quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability. The pickguard features a simplified version of the world-famous Hummingbird pickguard graphics. The Hummingbird Special is finished in satin nitrocellulose lacquer in our choice of Satin Vintage Cherry Sunburst and Satin Wine Red. It comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs ™M Element Bronze under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp with an easilv accessible soundhole-mounted volume control, so it's stage and studio-ready from the moment vou take it out of the included premium soft shell case.

Much of the Hummingbird’s appeal lies in its versatility. No matter how you attack this flat-top, it pumps out rich, deep tones, and is equally at home strumming first-position chords as it is taking the spotlight for picking lead lines. Its spacious mahogany body and sweet, select Sitka spruce top are more than capable of nailing down the rhythm in the hands of a rock and roll sideman or accompanying the most nuanced performance under the fingers of today’s alternative singer-songwriter. The Hummingbird's mahogany neck has a comfortable rounded profile and mother of pearl parallelogram inlays.
