Orville Gibson invented the modern mandolin, and mandolins have been a part of Epiphone’s DNA since its earliest days. Company founder Anastasios Stathopoulo’s first (and only) patent, filed in 1909, was for a mandolin. Gibson Master Luthier Lloyd Loar designed the original F-5 mandolin in the early 1920s, and its eventual success even led to the creation of new musical genres, such as bluegrass. Now, Epiphone has collaborated with the Gibson Custom Shop on the new F-5G. Epiphone’s finest mandolin model to date, this exceptional Inspired by Gibson Custom instrument is a faithful recreation of the time-honored original. It features all solid wood construction with a figured maple back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top. The figured maple neck has an ebony fretboard with a compound radius (10” at the nut, 12” at the end of the fretboard) and an F-style scroll headstock with vintage-style tuners with pearloid buttons. Ornate touches include the three-ply top binding, mother-of-pearl “The Epiphone” and flowerpot headstock inlays, and the rich Cremona Sunburst finish. Whether you’re playing rhythmic chops or lead lines, its tone is balanced, deep, and resonant, with great carrying power. A vintage-style rectangular hardshell case is also included.

From Epiphone comes the beautiful entry-level acoustic-electric guitar, priced for anyone to afford. Dressed in a beautiful finish, and featuring appointments you'd often find on higher-end instruments, the Epiphone J-45 EC Studio guitar sounds just as good as it looks. Built on advanced jumbo body design, the depth of the body and the width of the shoulders create a large sound chamber, presenting tone that's full, deep, and loud. The cutaway guitar body design provides comfort when accessing the upper-register frets on the rosewood fretboard.
The Epiphone J-45 EC Studio guitar's mahogany back and sides paired with a solid Sitka spruce top brings out rich harmonics, lots of projection, and clarity in tone. A Titebond-glued neck joint keeps the guitar's neck and body stable, without losing any subtleties in tone. The mahogany neck adds strength, as the wood is quite durable and will stand up to the elements. The acoustic-electric guitar's rosewood bridge and fretboard produces lasting sustain, in a deep appearance.
The SlimTaper C-shape neck and 12" radius add speed and comfort to your playing, while lessening player exhaustion. The Epiphone guitar's ebony fretboard, rosewood bridge, and bone nut produce some of the clearest tone possible, so you can hear your notes with crystal clarity.
At the heart of this Epiphone acoustic-electric guitar is the integrated Fishman Presys II preamp and Sonicore pickup system, letting you plug in and amplify quickly and painlessly. The Fishman preamp system features controls for master volume, treble and bass EQ, a tuner/phase button and a built-in chromatic tuner. Also included is a separate battery box.

The story of “Greeny” is shrouded in mystery, but few guitars are as illustrious. Greeny is one of the most iconic original Les Paul™ Standards ever made, with a unique sound as recognizable as the guitar itself. Previously owned by Peter Green, it was used throughout his time with Fleetwood Mac and later sold to Gary Moore, who used it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. Now owned by Kirk Hammett, Greeny has passed through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Its distinctive sound is partly from the out-of-phase middle switch position due to the neck pickup’s reversed magnetic polarity. The Epiphone Kirk Hammett "Greeny" Les Paul Standard is a collaboration between Epiphone and the Gibson Custom Shop. This exceptional guitar was inspired by Kirk's legendary original and allows players around the world the opportunity to experience some of the magic of "Greeny" for themselves. It features premium components, including Gibson USA Greenybucker pickups with the neck pickup reverse mounted and complete with a reverse polarity magnet, a Switchcraft® pickup selector and 1/4" output jack, CTS® potentiometers, Mallory™ capacitors, and Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with spade-style buttons on a Gibson-style “open book” headstock. The Epiphone L-00 Studio Acoustic/Electric guitar is a direct descendent of Epiphone’s original line of flattops going back to the golden age of acoustic guitars in the 1930s. The smaller "parlor" or "blues box" style acoustic guitar is favored by blues players of all eras for its compressed, woody tonal quality, short scale, and comfortable weight, which makes it ideal for fingerpicking or the bark of a bottleneck slide. Now featuring the Fishman® Sonitone™ soundhole preamp and Fishman® Sonicore™ pickup, the L-00 Studio Acoustic/Electric can now plug-in and be heard on any size stage with first class acoustic/electric sound.
