One of the most popular amplifiers of all time lives again in the '57 Custom Champ. Renown for its flexibility, ease-of-use and knockout tone, this is the classic sound heard on thousands of recordings. Known among players as hidden treasures from the early ’60s, Fender “brown panel” amplifiers are prized for bridging the gap between the raw sound of its ’50s-era tweed-covered amps and the sparkling clean tones of its mid-’60s “black panel” amps, with a distinctive sound all their own.
The ’62 Deluxe Amp replicates the sound of those originals with its incredibly warm, woody clean tones and mean overdrive when cranked. Combining that with tube-bias tremolo makes it a true desert-island amplifier. Using two 6V6 output tubes to push 20 watts through a custom-designed Celestion® 12” speaker, the ‘62 Deluxe is the perfect amp for home recording and smaller gigs and an ideal amp for Fender aficionados and collectors everywhere.
$ 1,999.99 $ 2,546.00
Played on countless hit recordings for decades now, the mid-’60s Deluxe Reverb is a timeless Fender classic and one of the most indispensable workhorse guitar amps ever made. Moderately powered and producing a full, snappy and crystalline tone revered in studios from Muscle Shoals to Abbey Road and on stages worldwide, it’s a must-have tone machine. Today, the ’65 Deluxe Reverb is still one of the coolest amps around, with the fantastic sound and vintage mid-’60s style still prized by rock, blues and country players everywhere. The Fender® American Vintage II series presents a remarkably accurate take on the revolutionary designs that altered the course of musical history. Built with period-accurate bodies, necks and hardware, premium finishes and meticulously voiced, year-specific pickups, each instrument captures the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.
In 1951, caught between the end of the "Broadcaster" name and the dawn of the "Telecaster," Fender shipped guitars with no model name on the headstock at all — and a legend was born. Informed by a telegram from Gretsch that the “Broadkaster” name had been registered for a drum kit, Fender began clipping the “Broadcaster” name from headstock decals until the new Telecaster decals were delivered. Seventy-five years later, the legend lives on in the 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster — a meticulous tribute to one of the most storied instruments ever made.
The 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster features an ash body finished in Nocaster Blonde and dressed in our exclusive Heirloom Lacquer treatment — an aged nitrocellulose finish carefully crafted to emulate the natural wear and patina of a vintage guitar that has spent decades in the hands of a player. The result is an instrument that doesn't just look vintage, it feels vintage, right out of the case. The substantial '51 "U"-shaped hard rock maple neck plays like a dream with a 7.25" radius fingerboard and vintage tall frets. True to the vintage accurate Nocaster specifications, the 12th fret face-dot spacing is narrow and the sole single Phillips-head fastener on the guitar is at the truss rod nut. The triple brass saddle bridge and single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners deliver authentic Fender style, while the 75th Anniversary Blackguard Telecaster® pickups honor the guitar's direct lineage to the original — delivering that raw, chimey, unmistakable blackguard twang that started it all.
The instruments in the American Vintage II series are direct descendants of the original Fenders: designed for players with a fine appreciation for vintage Fender tone and feel and built with unmatched quality, down to the last screw. These are Fender electrics in their purest form — and none more historically charged than this. Fender American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster: 75 years of the guitar that had no name and changed everything.
