Jimi Hendrix™ is widely regarded as the most innovative guitarist of the rock era, a player who took the instrument to places no one else had ever gone before. Now, Epiphone, in partnership with Gibson Custom and the Hendrix family, is proud to introduce the Jimi Hendrix “Love Drops” Flying V™, an Inspired by Gibson Custom recreation of a guitar that Jimi played extensively from 1967-1969. Originally a Sunburst, Jimi Hendrix customized his Ebony-refinished Gibson™ Flying V with psychedelic graphics that he hand-painted, which are recreated here. The Jimi Hendrix “Love Drops” Flying V also features a mahogany body, a one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded C profile, a laurel fretboard, and 22 medium jumbo frets. An Inspired by Gibson Custom logo and reproduction of Jimi’s signature adorn the back of the 1967-style Flying V headstock. Epiphone Deluxe tuners anchor the strings at the headstock, while a short Maestro™ Vibrola™ anchors them at the other end. The electronics are first-rate, with a pair of Gibson Custombucker humbucker™ pickups wired to CTS® potentiometers, a Mallory™ tone capacitor, and a Switchcraft® 3-way pickup select switch and 1/4” output jack. Epiphone Kirk Hammet "Greeny" 1959 Les Paul Standard - Greeny Burst
$ 1,499.00 $ 1,874.00
Three Legendary Guitarists, One Legendary Guitar
The story of “Greeny” is shrouded in mystery, but few guitars are as illustrious. Greeny is one of the most iconic original Les Paul™ Standards ever made, with a unique sound as recognizable as the guitar itself. Previously owned by Peter Green, it was used throughout his time with Fleetwood Mac and later sold to Gary Moore, who used it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. Now owned by Kirk Hammett, Greeny has passed through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Its distinctive sound is partly from the out-of-phase middle switch position due to the neck pickup’s reversed magnetic polarity. The Epiphone Kirk Hammett "Greeny" Les Paul Standard is a collaboration between Epiphone and the Gibson Custom Shop. This exceptional guitar was inspired by Kirk's legendary original and allows players around the world the opportunity to experience some of the magic of "Greeny" for themselves. It features premium components, including Gibson USA Greenybucker pickups with the neck pickup reverse mounted and complete with a reverse polarity magnet, a Switchcraft® pickup selector and 1/4" output jack, CTS® potentiometers, Mallory™ capacitors, and Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with spade-style buttons on a Gibson-style “open book” headstock. A vintage-style brown and pink hardshell case is also included.

Epiphone Les Paul Junior Electric Guitar - TV Yellow
Sold Out $ 662.00
Timeless simplicity and P-90 power
The Les Paul™ Junior was first introduced in 1954 during Gibson’s first Golden Era. It was designed as an affordable, high-quality, solidbody electric guitar option suitable for students and beginners. Compared to the standard Les Paul models of the early and mid-1950s, the Les Paul Junior was stripped down to the essentials, with the carved maple top, fretboard and body top binding, second pickup and its controls, and the more ornate decorative features of the Les Paul Standard removed, leaving a slab mahogany body and single pickup-equipped model that could be priced more attractively for beginners. However, it wasn’t long before players of all levels of experience and ability, including many professional musicians, discovered the magic of this erstwhile “student model” and began to utilize it on recordings and stages worldwide, performing in a broad range of musical genres. Famous Les Paul Junior players include Leslie West of Mountain, Martin Barre of Jethro Tull, Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke, Glenn Frey of the Eagles, Johnny Thunders, John Lennon, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, and Steve Howe, among others. The appeal? The Les Paul Junior’s outward simplicity disguises the wealth of tonal options available from the single pickup, volume control, and tone control; by varying where you place the picking hand, as well as the settings on the master volume and tone knobs, you can coax a surprisingly wide range of different, and very cool, tones out of a Junior.

Epiphone Les Paul Special Double Cut Figured Electric Guitar - Ocean Water
Sold Out $ 748.00
The Les Paul Special, taken to the next level
The Gibson Les Paul™ Special was designed as an enhanced version of the Les Paul Junior, featuring two P-90 pickups compared to the Junior’s single P-90 pickup for increased sonic flexibility. It also added fretboard binding and a mother-of-pearl headstock logo, giving it a bit more visual appeal as well and creating an intermediate model that sat between the fancier Les Paul Standard and the Les Paul Junior in the product lineup. The Les Paul Special was first released as a single-cutaway model in 1955, but by 1958, it had transitioned to a double-cutaway body, offering improved access to the upper range of the fretboard. A change to a thinner SlimTaper™ neck profile and lower rhythm pickup positioning in 1960 brought improved neck stability and made it easier to play than ever.

Epiphone’s long friendship with Mr. Les Paul began in 1940 when Les built one of the world’s first solidbody electric guitars while working nights at the original Epiphone factory in Manhattan. Les’ first solid body guitar, nicknamed “the Log,” would go on to inspire the Les Paul™ Standard, which many consider the greatest electric guitar ever made. The Les Paul Standard 60s models from the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson™ Collection recreate the look, feel, and sound of the early 1960s-era Les Pauls. They feature a mahogany body with a maple cap, and the models with translucent finishes have an added AAA flame maple veneer visible through the finish for that classic “flame top” look. The mahogany neck sports a laurel fretboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a fast-playing 60s SlimTaper™ profile. The headstock is equipped with quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines and a Graph Tech® nut for rock-solid tuning stability, so you can spend more time playing and less time tuning. The Les Paul Standard 60s is powered by a perfectly balanced set of Epiphone’s acclaimed Probucker™ pickups, with a Probucker 2 in the neck position and a slightly hotter Probucker 3 in the bridge, and each pickup is wired to its own individual set of volume and tone controls that feature CTS® potentiometers. Available in a variety of attractive finish colors and packaged in a Premium Gig Bag, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s is a great way to enjoy an authentic Les Paul playing experience at an accessible price.
