In the twilight of the 1960s, SF Bay Area amp repairman to the Stars, Randall Smith, was inspired to start building his own amplifiers after coming to a deep appreciation for the 50s Tweed circuits developed by Leo Fender. He loved their organic-sounding voice, powerful controls, and the way they smoothly transitioned from clean to clip and back again. Standing on the shoulders of a giant, Smith’s (and the World’s) first venture into boutique guitar amplification resulted in a new Boogie® amp design inspired by that wonderful, timeless-sounding preamp. 3 POWER VOICES, ONE SIMPLE SWITCH

The California Tweed 2:20 is powered by 2x6V6 Power Tubes while the preamp features 5x12AX7 and 1x12AT7 preamp tubes. Our patented Incremental Multi-WattTM (Patent 9,917,560) Power Amp, featuring Duo-ClassTM (Patent 7,173,488) and Dyna-WattTM technologies, provides three power levels, two operating classes, and three wiring options via a single 3-Way Rotary Switch! Choose from the following power options:

20 Watts - 2x6V6 Class A/B Pentode – Fixed Bias
10 Watts - 2x6V6 Class A/B Triode – Fixed Bias
1 Watt - 1x6V6 Pentode, Single-Ended Class A – Cathode Bias

WYSIWYG Interface

Another Peavey original, the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface allows users to identify the position of the knobs with a glance at the amp. When a modeling amp changes presets the settings on the knobs change with it; however, on most amps the position of the knob no longer corresponds with the actual setting.

This can cause confusion and mistakes that result in random, unwanted outcomes. With the VYPYR, the LEDs around the knob always indicate what position it is in relative to the current preset. Simply a better solution.

Amp Accessible Operation

Many competitors claim their amps have multiple effects and models, but most of them are not fully functional without the use of external software. With the VYPYR X you can access ANY of the features of the amp, right from the front of the amp itself or with the use of a footswitch in the case of the looper. 100 WATTS OF SOLID STATE MOJO

Solid state doesn’t have to be lifeless. We’ve proven that before with our Crush Pro range and we’re proving it all over again. The Super Crush 100 uses the tried and tested 100 Watt Class A/B power amp from our Pedal Baby 100 to deliver all the dynamics, presence and feel of a big valve amp. The Super Crush 100 features a balanced XLR output with our CabSim speaker emulation technology. Two identical Channels feature 3 new super dynamic and duplicated Modes. CLEAN, CRUNCH and CRUSH repeated supply all the gain, shaping power and raw personality you’ll need to navigate any Band or Session environment. The easy to pilot 2-Channel preamp is harnessed with three different and perfect power displacements, each delivering addictive EL34 performance.

MULTI-WATT™- 100, 50 OR 20 WATTS AT THE SWITCH

The Badlander 100 features our patented Multi-Watt™ Power Switch that offers three wattage settings; A FULL power of 100 watts running the full quartet of EL34s, a HALF power setting cranking 50 Watts that puts two ELs to their best use, and a reconfigured Triode wired option producing 20 Watts of clip-able sweetness that also runs a pair of output tubes. Each has its own set of benefits and character and together they provide almost limitless possibilities when you consider the pairings with the available preamp Modes, their gain structures and dial-able sounds.

Compared to its 50-Watt sibling, the 100s lower Mids are fatter, fuller sounding and a bit more prominent in the mix, filling in all the cracks to create a balanced, wide, wall of expressive goodness, regardless of where the Mode Switch or GAIN controls are set. With over 50 years of experience in great guitar tone and quality, the Crush Acoustic 30 is Orange’s entry into the world of acoustic amplification. At ease in any situation, this lightweight, portable, battery powered acoustic combo continues the Orange tradition of simple but versatile design.

With a custom speaker, angled cabinet and 30 Watts of power, the Crush Acoustic 30 is a great companion for busking, gigs or practice. Two channels, built-in effects and a feedback-busting notch filter take care of all the details, leaving you free to work your magic.

CHANNEL 1 – INSTRUMENT CHANNEL

Optimised for acoustic guitar, this channel features a ¼” jack input and a 3-band active EQ. A -10dB Pad switch helps guarantee a clean signal with higher output instruments while the Colour switch adds a treble boost and slight mid scoop, great for livening up dull pickups or finding your place in the mix.

CHANNEL 2 – MIC CHANNEL

GET CONNECTED

A buffered FX Loop, ¼” Line output and a balanced XLR out give you all the connections you need, even for complicated rigs. A 3.5mm Aux-In jack can be used to connect a smartphone, tablet or similar audio device, allowing you to play along to backing tracks.

BATTERY POWERED
