The Gibson Patent Applied For humbucker™ pickups from the 1950s are considered by many musicians to be the “holy grail” of vintage electric guitar pickups. Among them, the unique set that was installed in the legendary “Greeny” Les Paul™ are some of the most famous. The new Greenybucker set is instantly recognizable from a sonic perspective; their distinctive sound is partially from the out-of-phase middle switch position due to the neck pickup’s reverse magnetic polarity. The Greenybucker pickup set was developed with input from Greeny’s current owner, Kirk Hammett, and with specifications taken from the actual Patent Applied For humbucker pickups on that world-renowned guitar, including asymmetrical coil windings and unpolished Alnico 2 magnets.

Much of the Hummingbird’s appeal lies in its versatility. No matter how you attack this flat-top, it pumps out rich, deep tones, and is equally at home strumming first-position chords as it is taking the spotlight for picking lead lines. Its spacious mahogany body and sweet, select Sitka spruce top are more than capable of nailing down the rhythm in the hands of a rock and roll sideman or accompanying the most nuanced performance under the fingers of today’s alternative singer-songwriter. The Hummingbird's mahogany neck has a comfortable rounded profile and mother of pearl parallelogram inlays. This 'bird has a TUSQ® nut, saddle, and bridge pins, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, the iconic Hummingbird™ graphics on the pickguard, and is equipped with LR Baggs® VTC electronics, so it's ready to plug in on stage or in the studio. While the Gibson J-185 may not have achieved the same universal name recognition as models like the J-45™M, SJ-200™, and Hummingbird™, it has long held a special place among knowledgeable players, who consider it one of the best-sounding acoustic guitars Gibson has ever made. Originally released in 1951, the J-185's body outline drew inspiration from the celebrated 1920s L-5 models, sharing much of their silhouette and proportions. Slightly more compact than an SJ-200 and built with the familiar 24.75" scale length also found on the J-45 and Hummingbird, the J-185 carved out a tonal identity that has made it a favorite for decades.
Gibson now introduces a fresh interpretation of this beloved platform: the J-185 Century 12-Fret. It carries forward many of the hallmark appointments that define the classic J-185, but the shift to a
12-fret neck-to-body joint sets it apart from the standard 14-fret design. This configuration shortens the neck and moves the bridge plate farther from the waist and closer to the body's widest point, enhancing top movement and improving playing comfort. The result is a warm, lively, and responsive voice that especially suits fingerstyle players and anyone with a lighter, nuanced touch.
Because any J-185 variant is relatively uncommon, let alone 12-fret versions, this new model gives a much wider audience the chance to experience the tonal character that only a 12-fret jumbo can offer. As part of the Century Collection, created to mark 100 Years of Gibson Flat-Tops, the J-185
Century 12-Fret pairs a mahogany body with a Sitka spruce top and is outlined with single-ply cream binding on the top and back.
Its mahogany neck features a fast, comfortable Slim Taper™ 12-Fret profile and is joined to the body at the 12th fret using a compound dovetail neck joint secured with hot hide glue, consistent with Gibson acoustic build tradition. The bound rosewood fingerboard hosts 19 frets and understated mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
The headstock showcases open-back Golden Age strap tuners with cream buttons, along with an early-1900s Gibson script logo decal that reinforces the vintage aesthetic. Complementing these details is a sloped rectangle closed-slot rosewood bridge reminiscent of early -45 instruments.
Bone is used for both the nut and saddle, while the bridge pins are TUSQ®. The J-185 Century
12-Fret is fitted with a Gibson oval teardrop pickguard and finished with a hand-applied satin nitrocellulose lacquer in Vintage Amber, Vintage Sunburst, or Ebony. It ships in a premium Century Collection tweed hardshell case and is offered in both right-handed and left-handed configurations.
Pick up a J-185 Century 12-Fret and discover the expressive, full-bodied sound that only a 12-fret Gibson jumbo can deliver.

Jake Kiszka, acclaimed guitarist and founding member of rock 'n' roll powerhouse Greta Van Fleet, has carved out a signature approach defined by intensity, nuance, and unwavering creative vision.
His connection to his treasured 1961 SG™M extends far beyond admiration; it's a bond shaped through years of exploration. As Jake notes, "The '61, this particular model, has defined me as a player, and I think I've defined it in return." For decades, the Gibson SG has stood at the center of rock 'n' roll's evolution, favored by artists who push boundaries and reimagine the genre. The new Jake Kiszka S Standard honors that legacy, crafted from mahogany and metal with precision and purpose at Gibson's Nashville headquarters.
This limited-edition instrument pays tribute to the legendary '61 S, with its unmistakable double-cutaway silhouette and pronounced bevels that evoke generations of rock storytelling. Its Slim Taper™ neck, carved from mahogany, invites expressive playing along a rosewood fretboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and accented by glowing acrylic trapezoid inlays. A Graph Tech® nut partners with Gibson Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons to deliver exceptional tuning dependability.
At the other end, the strings ride across an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge for complete control over action and intonation, then anchor into a stop tailpiece concealed beneath a Sideways Vibrola™ cover. The Vibrola tailpiece has been internally modified and secured so it remains decorative rather than functional, mirroring the appearance of Jake's own beloved 1961 SG, the Beloved, while providing the stability and performance of a fixed tailpiece. Once a tool for experimental bends and shimmering effects, the immobilized Vibrola now serves as a visual homage and a symbol of modern reliability.
Jake also opted for subtle updates to the electronics compared to a vintage 1961 SG. His model features a pair of T-Type humbuckers™, a duo capable of delivering searing highs, articulate clarity, and dynamic punch. Each pickup is paired with independent volume and tone controls, complemented by Orange Drop® tone capacitors.
Handbuilt at the Gibson factory, the Jake Kiszka SG Standard features a Faded Vintage Cherry gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish and ships in a black Modern hardshell case emblazoned with a Jake Kiszka doubloon logo graphic. The guitar arrives with a standard backplate installed, and the case includes a separate hand-signed and stamped Jake Kiszka backplate, along with a custom leather strap enhanced with a metallic coin pendant designed by Jake.
With Greta Van Fleet achieving chart success around the world, Jake Kiszka's impact on a new wave of players is unmistakable. His Gibson SG has been a constant partner throughout his rise.
Now the Jake Kiszka S Standard offers that same spirit to players everywhere. Available only in limited numbers, this is your chance to make it your own.

The story of "Greeny" is shrouded in mystery, but few guitars are as illustrious. Greeny is one of the most iconic original Les Paul Standards ever made, with a unique sound as recognizable as the guitar itself. Previously owned by Peter Green, it was used throughout his time with Fleetwood Mac and later sold to Gary Moore, who used it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. Now owned by Kirk Hammett, Greeny has passed through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Its distinctive sound is partly from the out-of-phase middle switch position due to the neck pickup's reversed magnetic polarity. The Kirk Hammett "Greeny" Les Paul Standard was inspired by this legendary guitar and gives players around the world the opportunity to experience some of the magic of "Greeny" for themselves. An Original Series hardshell case is included.

First introduced in the early 1930s, the Gibson L-00 quickly became one of the most recognized small-body acoustics in the Gibson lineup. Celebrated for its compact feel and its remarkably balanced sound- captured in Gibson's 1934 catalog as offering a tone of "perfect balance"_-the L-Series has long been associated with parlor-style playing, thanks to its popularity in living rooms and home music spaces. Its appeal has endured for generations.
Gibson now proudly unveils a fresh take on this revered design: the L-00 Century 12-Fret. While it preserves the core attributes that modern L-00 players appreciate, this edition moves to a 12-fret neck-to-body joint rather than the familiar 14-fret layout. This shift is more than cosmetic. With a
12-fret connection, the neck is slightly shorter, and the bridge plate shifts into a more central, more resonant zone of the top. This placement helps the soundboard work more efficiently, improves playing comfort, and yields a warm, articulate, and lively tonality that responds beautifully to fingerstyle techniques and players with a lighter, more nuanced attack.
Though Gibson has built 12-fret L-00 models before, they have historically appeared only on the earliest pre-war flat-tops or in limited-production runs, making them far less common than 14-fret versions. Now, the distinctive voice of a 12-fret parlor guitar returns as a standard offering in the L-00 Century 12-Fret. Part of the new Century Collection marking 100 Years of Gibson Flat-Tops, it pairs a mahogany body with a Sitka spruce top and is framed with single-ply cream binding on both the top and back.
Its mahogany neck features a comfortable Slim Taper ™ 12-Fret profile and uses a compound dovetail joint secured with hot hide glue, a traditional build approach used throughout Gibson's acoustic range. The rosewood fingerboard carries 19 frets and understated mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
The headstock showcases open-back Golden Age strap tuners with cream buttons and an early-1900s-stle Gibson script logo decal for an authentic vintage look. Complementing this are period-inspired touches such as the sloped-rectangle closed-slot rosewood bridge. The guitar is completed with a bone nut and saddle, TUSQ® bridge pins, a classic L-00-style pickguard, and a hand-applied satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Each instrument ships in a premium Century Collection tweed hardshell case and is offered in both right- and left-handed configurations.

The Les Paul™ Custom was first introduced in 1953 as an upscale version of the Les Paul model. The model was requested by Les Paul himself, who wanted a black version of the Les Paul guitar that “looked like a tuxedo.” In 1961, the single cutaway Les Paul Custom was discontinued in favor of a new double-cutaway model that would later become known as the SG™ Custom, and the original single cutaway model was reintroduced in 1968. During the 1970s, production of the Les Paul Custom transitioned from Kalamazoo to Nashville, and the Les Paul Custom received various changes that further refined the model, including a multi-piece maple top that replaced the original all-mahogany-body construction along with a new maple neck. Today, these 70s-era Les Paul Customs are some of the fastest-appreciating guitars on the vintage market. Now, after 20 years of offering the Les Paul Custom only through Gibson Custom, Gibson is proud to release the Les Paul Custom 70s. It features classic 1970s specs, including a mahogany body with a three-piece maple top. The body is bound with 5-ply top binding and 3-ply back binding. The maple neck has a 70s profile and a volute and is topped with a bound ebony fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl block inlays. The bound headstock is also adorned with mother-of-pearl in the form of the famous Custom Split Diamond mother-of-pearl headstock inlay, which originated with the Gibson Super 400 and has become synonymous with the Les Paul Custom. The Les Paul Custom 70s features gold hardware, including an aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and smooth-turning Grover® Rotomatic® with Keystone button tuners for reliable tuning stability. Even the smallest details have been recreated, including Posi-Lok™ strap locks, a 5-ply pickguard, and 70s-era-approved Witch Hat control knobs. The electronics are also era-appropriate, with a pair of Calibrated T-Type humbuckers™ with individual volume and tone controls that are hand-wired to Orange Drop® capacitors. The Les Paul Custom 70s is available in four gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes, including Ebony, Tobacco Burst, Wine Red, and even a version with a beautiful Buttercream Top, and each comes packed in a hardshell case for protection when it’s in storage and traveling. The wait is over–The Les Paul Custom has returned to the Gibson USA lineup and is ready to rock your world!

Although introduced in 1954 as a more affordable option for students and beginners, the Les Paul™ Junior has gained a reputation among seasoned professionals for its raw, unfiltered tone. Its single-cutaway, slab mahogany body delivers punchy midrange and impressive sustain, with a single dogear P-90 delivering biting, articulate sound that responds dynamically to your playing style. With its simplified master volume and tone controls, simplicity is the name of the game—just plug in, dial up your tone, and unleash classic rock, blues, or punk riffs without any fuss.
At the heart of the Les Paul Junior’s design is a mahogany neck with a fat, 50s Vintage profile that gives players a substantial yet comfortable feel perfect for everything from big chordal strums to intricate lead work. The 22-fret rosewood fingerboard has a 12” radius, making string bends smooth and fretting easy at every position. A Wraparound bridge anchors the strings, ensuring rock-solid intonation and sustain despite its no-frills aesthetic. Together with the P-90, this setup delivers tones ranging from warm cleans to crunchy overdrive with just a twist of the volume knob.
True to its heritage, the Les Paul Junior’s minimalist design is a reminder that less really can be more. Its lightweight construction provides a comfortable playing experience, whether you’re jamming at home or hitting the stage for a high-energy set. And while the original was designed with beginners in mind, the modern Les Paul Junior has captured the hearts of countless professionals seeking that signature grit and clarity.
Loaded with vintage charm and workhorse reliability, the iconic Les Paul Junior puts authentic tone and effortless playability above all else, just as it has for nearly 70 years.

The Les Paul Music City Special - 50th Anniversary is an updated, modern twist on two historical Gibson models, taking much of its inspiration from the 70s-era Marauder that was designed by Bill Lawrence, with a touch of the Music City Jr. in its DNA. Over the years, the Marauder has been used by artists from Adam Jones to Paul Stanley. This unique commemorative model pays tribute to the early days of Gibson's Nashville production and celebrates Gibson's 50 years of producing world-class guitars in Music City while delivering outstanding value to modern players. The lightweight, contoured body is solid poplar. The maple neck has a fast-playing and comfortable Slim Taper ™ profile and is equipped with a striped ebony fretboard that is adorned with acrylic dot inlays and outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets. The 12" fretboard radius makes first-position chords and string bends higher up the fretboard equally effortless. The hardware is chrome-plated, including the Nashville Tune-O-Matic ™ bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners, and output jack plate cover. A black 5-ply pickguard holds two Gibson 70s Tribute humbucker ™ pickups, which are wired to an intuitive and comfortable control layout consisting of master volume and master tone controls with black Top Hat knobs and a three-way pickup selector toggle switch. A premium soft shell case is included to keep the Les Paul Music City Special - 50th Anniversary safe when stored or in transport. The Les Paul Music City Special - 50th Anniversary is available in Ebony, Wine Red, and Tobacco Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes, and each has a commemorative 50th Anniversary truss rod cover. Gibson's Les Paul™ is one of the all-time great electric guitar designs and has been played by some of the world's most talented and best-loved musicians. With its single-cutaway mahogany body and often flamed maple top, the look of the Les Paul is iconic. In the past, Gibson has produced acoustic versions of the Les Paul; first, from 1969 until 1973, in the form of a Jumbo cutaway model, and from 2000 to 2003, Gibson Custom made a solidbody-style Les Paul Acoustic. Now, Gibson is proud to introduce the Les Paul Parlor Acoustic. It features a smaller, parlor-sized body that is reminiscent of a scaled-down SJ-200™M in overall shape. The back and sides of the Les Paul Parlor Acoustic are made from solid mahogany, while the bookmatched top is supported by traditional scalloped X-bracing and is made from solid AAA flame maple. Both the top and back feature single-ply cream binding. The top is every bit as gorgeous as the bookmatched tops you'll find on many of our electric models, and as with the electrics, the maple adds a bit of bite and note definition to the warm tone from the mahogany body. The mahogany neck has a comfortable and fast-playing Advanced Response profile that's neither too beefy nor too slim and is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard that has a 12" radius, is equipped with 19 standard frets, and is adorned with pearloid trapezoid inlays. The neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint. The rosewood bridge is installed in a belly-down orientation, and the nut, saddle, and bridge pins are all TUSQ®. The TUSQ nut and saddle, along with the nickel-plated Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, help ensure the tuning stays where you set it so you can spend more time playing and less time tuning. The single-ply cream pickguard's shape was inspired by the pickguards used on Les Paul Standard electric guitars and further reinforces the Les Paul aesthetic, as does the mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and gold Les Paul Model decal on the headstock. The Les Paul Parlor Acoustic comes factory-equipped with an L.R. Baggs™ VTC+4 under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp with stealthy yet easy-to-access soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, so it's plug-and-play ready from the moment you take it out of the included modern hardshell case. Here's your opportunity to own a high-quality, great-sounding Gibson acoustic guitar that matches the aesthetic of your Gibson Les Paul Standard. It's the perfect pairing and is available now at your local Gibson dealer and at the Gibson Garage.
