Higher Rail Voltage, Higher Headroom

Most battery-powered guitars and basses will produce as much as 7 Volts when played at maximum volume, which can easily overload typical active direct boxes which have are only able to handle about 3 Volts. The J48 uses a unique switching power supply that raises the internal rail voltage so it can handle up to an incredible 9 Volts, resulting in improved signal handling and greater headroom. This additional headroom significantly reduces distortion of all types, allowing the natural tone and character of the instrument to shine through.

Designed without compromise by Radial

Radial Power clean surge suppressors give musicians, engineers, producers, studio owners, commercial facilities, and anyone working with valuable electronic equipment protection from power surges that can damage or destroy music equipment instantaneously. Eight rear panel outlets are provided (four with wall-wart spacing to accommodate any PSU size), along with an easily accessible front panel outlet and a USB charging port for powering personal devices. Unlike competitive products that utilize low quality MOV's (Metal Oxide Varistor) for surge protection, Radial Power units are built using a USA made MOV. This critical component has been proven to offer superior thermal protection and have a much longer lifespan than the alternatives. The Power-2 utilizes shunt mode technology and is non-ground contaminating for lower system noise. A high-rejection RF interference filter is used to keep high frequencies and AM radio signals out of the power line, preventing contamination of audio signals.

Take complete control over your tone, EQ settings, and effects with the PZ-Pro, a two channel instrument preamp, DI and switcher. Each channel features a separate equalizer strip complete with a filter section to reduce feedback on stage. The second channel of the PZ-Pro also features a microphone input to allow any dynamic or condenser microphone to be used, including clip-on instrument mics. Three footswitches provide the ability to toggle between each input channel, activate a built-in booster and an effects loop, or mute the signal for silent tuning on stage.

Mission control for your acoustic setup

The PZ-Pro is designed for instrumentalists and performers who take a no-compromise approach when it comes to tone, both on stage and in the recording studio. Dual input channels allow you to switch between or blend together two sources, with full control over the sound of each input. Each channel has its own semi-parametric equalizer section and input level, along with individual filter controls to reduce feedback on stage. The second channel of the PZ-Pro also features a microphone input to allow any dynamic or condenser microphone to be used, including clip-on instrument mics or even vocal microphones. An FX Loop with a wet/dry knob provides the ability to blend in as much or as little pedal effects as desired, with a footswitch to bring them in and out of the signal chain at a moment's notice. Finally, once your tone is completely dialed-in, balanced XLR direct outs feed the PA system or a recording interface, with both Pre-EQ and Post-EQ outputs available.

Adaptable for any application

The PZ-Pro is highly configurable, so you can adapt it to meet the needs of your performance, instead of changing your performance to fit the limitations of your gear. Connect magnetic pickups, instruments with on-board preamps, or piezo transducers, and optimize the sound of each with powerful EQ controls and a variable notch or high-pass filter. Blend an instrument mic with your pickups, switch between two instruments, or connect a vocal microphone and feed it through your guitar pedals. The FX loop can be assigned to channel A, B, or both at once, and you can activate it with a footswitch or assign it to be always on, saving footswitch control for the variable clean boost function. Small size and big performance

The compact design begins with a ¼" input and thru-put to feed the on-stage amp. This connects to the custom made Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer which performs the impedance matching and balances the signal. When using extra high output instruments, a -15dB pad can be inserted into the signal path. This enables the SB-2 to be used with active basses and digital pianos that often tend to overload the input side of the interface. An innovative stereo-to-mono merge function provides a convenient way to connect stereo keyboards and computers without having to reset the source for mono operation, saving time and input channels on the PA. The SB-2 output features an XLR wired to the AES standard with pin-2 hot. Once connected, the SB-2 delivers a smooth warm sound reminiscent of older vintage gear. The Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer is magical in its ability to handle extreme signal levels with a natural compression that is pleasing to the ears. The transformer also helps eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops by isolating the input from the output. This is augmented with a ground lift switch that lifts pin-1 on the XLR for quiet, professional results.

The Radial SB-2 is a compact passive direct box that is designed primarily for buffered sources such as active acoustic guitar, keyboard and electric bass. A unique stereo-to-mono merge function enhances functionality by enabling stereo keyboards to be connected and mixed mono to save channels in the PA. Small Size, Big Tone

The Headlight has a compact footprint that will fit on any pedalboard, but it's still powerful enough to drive up to four amplifiers without sacrificing on tone. The input features a class-A buffer along with Drag Control load correction that allows you to optimize the impedance for your pickups and recreate the feel of plugging your guitar directly into an amp. Custom transformers isolate the outputs to prevent buzz and hum from ground loops, with ground lift switches to further alleviate noise problems. Should you really want to get loud, the mute footswitch can be configured as an 'all on' switch, activating all four amp outputs simultaneously.

Driving four different amps on stage

Use the Headlight to switch between four stage amps to create the ultimate setup for clean, crunch, overdrive and power solo! Simply depress the selector footswitch to select the amp you want. Super bright LEDs let you know which amp is active. Use the mute footswitch for quiet on-stage tuning.

Using the Headlight as an ABY

Connect your two amps using outputs 1 and 2 and select between them using the right-hand footswitch. Set the left-hand footswitch to ALL-ON and when depressed, both amps will play. The isolation transformers will prevent buzz and hum from ground loops when both amps are on.

Using Headlight with DI Boxes and Amplifiers

Using the Headlight you can feed both direct boxes and amplifiers. The outputs from the direct boxes can be sent directly to the mixer and stage amps can be mic'd.
