Introducing the limited edition Epiphone 150th Anniversary Wilshire. The hard-rocking guitar was created in celebration of Epiphone's 150th anniversary. From its introduction in 1959, the Wilshire has been one of Epiphone's most successful original solid body electric guitars. This special anniversary version features an asymmetrical-style Wilshire double-cutaway mahogany body for outstanding upper fret access, a mahogany neck with a comfortable '60s Slim Taper D profile, and an Indian laurel fretboard with dot inlays. The headstock is the popular "Batwing" style, with Wilkinson six on a plate inline tuners with metal buttons. The electronics feature a pair of made-in-the-USA Gibson Mini Humbuckers that are wired to CTS potentiometers and a Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch and output jack. The included 150th Anniversary Historic Hardshell Case features nickel hardware and an Epiphone 150th Anniversary logo.

This exceptional acoustic guitar has a thermally aged, solid red spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and a one-piece mahogany neck with a laurel fretboard, a V-shaped profile, and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The headstock features the world-famous Gibson “open book” profile and has the Inspired by Gibson Custom double diamond logo etched on the back and an “Epiphone Inspired by Gibson” banner on the front. It is stage and studio-ready with the built-in L.R. Baggs™ VTC preamp and under-saddle piezo pickup system and a hardshell case with the Inspired by Gibson Custom logo is also included.

Epiphone and the Gibson Custom Shop have teamed up again to create the Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Firebird V – an authentic replica of the guitar designed by legendary automotive designer Ray Dietrich. When it was launched in 1963, the Firebird™ was Gibson’s first neck-through-body model, and it went on to be used by players in a wide range of genres, including blues legend Johnny Winter, Keith Richards and Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, and Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music, to name a few.
The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Firebird V delivers vintage Firebird specifications at an accessible price, including a 9-ply neck-through-body made of mahogany and walnut with mahogany body wings to either side. Kluson® planetary geared “banjo” tuners anchor the strings at the headstock, while an Epiphone ABR-1 bridge and newly redesigned Maestro™ Vibrola™ with an engraved Epiphone logo hold things down at the other end. The electronics are also premium and include Gibson USA Firebird mini humbucker™ pickups with Alnico 5 magnets, CTS® potentiometers, Mallory™ capacitors, and a Switchcraft® 3-way pickup selector toggle switch and 1/4” output jack, giving this remarkable recreation not only the look but also the sound of a classic Firebird V. This has been Dave's main guitar ever since it was introduced by Gibson in 2007. The guitar is basically a Gibson Trini Lopez with Dave's own touches on it, which makes sense since he said numerous times that the Trini Lopez is his favorite guitar of all time. This INSPIRED BY GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP version is based on his latest guitar made by Gibson. Features include Gibson Burstbucker 2 and 3 pickups, 1-piece mahogany neck with elliptical C -profile, laurel fretboard with mother -of-pearl split diamond inlays, single white binding on body and neck, Switchcraft toggle and output jack, CTS potentiometers & Mallory 150 series capacitors, Firebird headstock/Grover mini tuners, bound diamond "f" holes, and artist logo hard case.

The 24.75" scale mahogany neck has a gloriously agile ebony fretboard with 24 medium jumbo frets, an Explorer™-style headstock with Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners, and a Graph Tech® nut. The mahogany Flying V-style body is equipped with a LockTone ™M Tune-O-Matic ™ bridge, string-thru Flying V tailpiece, and Dave's signature Seymour Duncan® Thrash Factor pickups that deliver all the high-output mayhem you'd expect from a Mustaine signature axe. The pure-metal looks are rounded out with a Black Metallic finish offset with white body, neck, and headstock binding, along with black nickel hardware. A hardshell case is also included.
