Pulling inspiration from the California Solid Body U•BASS® series, the all new Solid Body U•BASS® is a whole new take on the U•BASS®. Its sleek off-set body shape is contoured for balance and comfort. The 22 pocketed frets and 23.5" scale give you plenty of room to maneuver around yet it is still compact enough to easily travel with. The tone is thick and meaty thanks to the classic passive split-coil pickups. Comes with a Logo Gig Bag.

Passive Split-Coil Pickup with Volume & Tone Controls
This traditional Rickenbacker bass style with dot inlays and no binding was prized by Paul McCartney and Chris Squire when they got their first 4001S models in 1964. Players cherish its traditional look and rounded edges that many claim make it more comfortable than the 4003. The updated 4003S version comes with the improved dual trussrod system. Of course, the famous solid bass tones, ringing sustain and treble punch we’re known for make it a dream. It’s no wonder we’ve received a steady demand of requests to bring this back. This design was once exclusive to the British distributor Rose Morris in the six-ties. Iconic curves of maple form the body with a traditional Rosewood fingerboard. Dot inlays and no binding make this stand out from the standard 4003.

Roger Sadowsky's goal was always to further improve an already very successful bass design by making a number of detailed improvements. Along with the electronics, which he developed by himself, he succeeded to raise the well-known P/J bass sound to a new level, so today you can speak of a typical Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy treble range. All features of this modern bass sound can also be found in the 21-Fret Hybrid P/J basses of the MetroLine series made exclusively in Germany. All basses are lightweighted with approximately 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg). A good choice for bass players who are looking for a lightweight solution for the stage in addition to a modern bass sound. Special features of the P/J basses of this series are the active electronics with true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, treble and bass boost, ultralight Sadowsky tuners and the special Sadowsky bridge for quick string release. This 5-string bass in classic P-style shaped swamp ash body comes in '59 Burst Transparent High Polish finish.
