Fender Custom Shop Forest Fire Juniper '57 Champ Guitar Amplifier - Only One Built

This one of a kind showpiece started as an Alligator Juniper tree salvaged after the Doce wildfire near Prescott, Arizona in 2013. The centuries old tree had been killed by the devastating blaze and eventually reclaimed.
Master Builder Shawn Greene secured a single slab of highly figured juniper and picked the most stunning sections for his projects. The parts were cut and carefully sanded, polished, then assembled and treated with a natural wax finish.
An unmistakably unique feature of this amp is the "live edge" treatment around the grille. Burnt bark, unsanded but hardened and sealed, frames the front of the amp. Heat blued hardware is mounted throughout, hinting at the furious fire that burned the wood. Other custom appointments include juniper green acoustic suede grille cloth, laser etched control panel, a hand made volume knob and juniper wood Fender logo.
Great tone comes from our hand wired all tube '57 Custom Champ circuitry, featuring Fender Vintage yellow tone capacitors and Schumacher transformers. an 8" speaker makes this amp the perfect size and output power for the discriminating collector's home or office.
This one of a kind stunner is available in 120W for North America - only one made. A custom shop badge on the rear panel and a signed certificate of authenticity signify this genuinely collectible fender amplifier.

George Fullerton went to work for his close friend, Clarence "Leo" Fender, on Feb. 2, 1948, at the Fender® Electric Instrument Co. on Pomona Ave. in Fullerton, Calit. He became Leo Fender's right-hand man and, as such, played a pivotal role in the design and manufacture of then-revolutionary instruments and amplifiers that went on to rule the world. The Telecaster® guitar. The Precision® Bass guitar. The Bassman® amp And of course, the Stratocaster® guitar.
1957 was a benchmark year for the Stratocaster. The model had evolved quickly since its debut three years earlier, and 1957 was the year during which, many agree, the Stratocaster truly came into its own as an archetypal instrument, the year that a startlingly original design began to truly assert its role not only as a musical force, but also as a cultural icon that both fueled and reflected ages to come
Now, exactly 50 years later, the Fender Custom Shop is thrilled to say "Welcome home" to George Fullerton, whose legacy is honored with this very special instrument- one on which Mr. Fullerton himself has collaborated with our skilled Master Builders-The Limited Edition George Fullerton 50T Anniversary 1957 Stratocaster guitar.
Together with its accompanying Relic Tweed Pro Jr. IM amplifier, this instrument evokes the sheer devotion to craftsmanship and pioneering 1950s spirit of Fender; a spirit that George Fullerton personally helped found and foster, and a legendary guitar that he personally had an invaluable hand in creating. Mustang GTX 100 offers incredible bang for the buck. The all-new cabinet design is more gig-ready and durable; a new 12-inch Celestion speaker produces strong, powerful response; and the improved amp, speaker and cabinet models ensure that Mustang GTX sounds better than anything else in its class. Stereo XLR line outputs and stereo effects loop let you interface with PA, recording and outboard gear. GTX100 also includes a seven-button footswitch with individual bank up and down functions and easy effects selection, making GTX a true live performance amp. It also unlocks the amp’s included 60-second looper.
