Sound Generation
The Physis Piano generates sound through a Patented system of mathematical algorithms. This process reproduces with absolute fidelity the dynamics and physical-acoustic phenomena of the piano – giving you the absolute most expressive and authentic playing experience.
Taking over 7 years of intense research, the Physis Piano contains six different sound generation algorithms: Acoustic Piano Model (APM), Electric Piano Model (EPM), Wurly Piano Model (WPM), Harpsichord Piano Model (CPM), Mallet Acoustic Model (AMM), High Definition Sound Engine (HDSE). This sound library has been designed and optimized to give you a set of reference sounds of a fidelity never experienced before. The expressive possibilities of the Physis Piano are limitless. This instrument gives you not only a great control over the sound, but also endless customization. An Evolution in Tone
Vox Custom Series amps offer two channels: Normal and Top-Boost. Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. This powerful channel pairing provides an abundance of tone-crafting control, letting you dial in a classic sound that is all your own.
Both channels rely on the Tone Cut and Volume controls in the Master section. The Tone Cut control operates in the power stage rather than the preamp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone-shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain-staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Custom Series can deliver everything from a clean Vox chimey sound to a powerful overdriven tone.
Sound in Motion
You can sweeten the sound of your Custom Series amplifier using the Vox Classic Tremolo effect. Both the speed and the depth are adjustable, allowing you to generate just the sound you want. A warm Spring Reverb is also included on all Custom Series amps, adding spaciousness to the sound. All Custom Series amps can use the VOX VFS2 footswitch, allowing you to turn the Reverb and Tremolo effects on and off as you continue to play.
Power Sharing
The AC15C1 combo makes use of 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and uses pair of EL84 tubes to drive a single 12 Celestion G12M Greenback. All models in the Custom Series offer a switchable 8/16 ohm output jack for powering an external speaker cabinet when you need to speak with a little more authority; using this jack will mute the internal speakers. Additionally, a 2nd extension speaker jack allows you to run an extra 16 ohm cabinet along with the internal speakers for a fuller sound.

In order to fully express the potential of the Nutube, both the preamp and power-amp sections feature a Nutube. What is the Nutube?
Nutube is a new vacuum tube that was developed by KORG Corporation in conjunction with Noritake Itron Corporation as an application of vacuum fluorescent display technology. Like a conventional vacuum tube, a Nutube has an anode grid filament structure, and operates as a complete triode tube. It provides the same rich overtones and response that are distinctive of conventional vacuum tubes.
Power amp section uses NuPower technology
The power amp section is one of the important factors that determine the distinctive response and playability of a tube amp. VOX has always paid careful attention to the design of the power amp section, notably in its Valve Reactor circuit. With the MVX150 series, VOX have begun using newly developed NuPower technology, which takes full advantage of the Nutube’s sound potential and also delivers the advantages of conventional tubes and solid-state power. Tube power is the key to stunning dynamics, while solid state power has the advantage of stability, wide range, and high output. The NuPower design utilizes the advantages of both to create a powerful, yet nuanced power section that compliments your playing style.
What is NuPower?
NuPower is a power amp design that combines the Nutube with a solid-state amp, obtaining the advantages of both.
Like the power section of a conventional vacuum tube amp, the Nutube is used in a push-pull configuration, and the dynamic response of the speaker is detected and fed back to the previous stage of the circuit.
This generates sag, power tube distortion, and dynamic frequency response change, delivering true vacuum tube amp sound with its lively and dynamic response.
Additionally, since this amp possesses the wide frequency response that is characteristic of solid state amps, it can provide everything from wide-range clean sound with pristinely clear highs to high-gain sound with unbeatable lows.
Another major advantage of NuPower is that it ensures stable operation in any environment without requiring the maintenance that is needed by conventional vacuum tubes.
Controls that allows versatile sound-shaping
The MVX150 series features a two-channel design that covers a wide variety of sounds. In addition to EQ, Channel 1 provides CLEAN/CRUNCH, BRIGHT, and FAT modes. Channel 2 lets you switch between RHYTHM/LEAD, BRIGHT, FAT, and MID-SHIFT modes. PRESENCE and RESONANCE controls are also provided, which let you adjust the ultra-high and ultra-low regions respectively. You can not only re-create iconic guitar sounds of the past, but also aggressively shape your tone in all-new ways. The bias voltage of the Nutube used on each channel of the preamp can be also adjusted, allowing you to control the response and character of the sound, providing a dramatically expanded expressive scope from vintage to modern.
Includes practical functions, such as effects send/return and WET ONLY output
The MVX150 series provides many extended features, such as effects send/return jacks that allow you switch between parallel and series.
As on the Valvetronix series, the power level control lets you adjust the level in six stages, all while maintaining the sense of loudness and distortion. There’s also WET ONLY output that lets you easily set up a wet/dry rig simply by adding an additional speaker cabinet. In this setup the MVX150 will output just the dry sound from the conventional speaker, while the WET ONLY output emits only the sound processed by a send/return connected effect unit or the internal reverb unit. By utilizing this function, you can easily create the same dry/wet system as a professional stage setup using just this one unit, without using a separate power amp or complex connections.
The MVX150 also provides an EMULATED LINE OUT which is useful not only during live performances but also in the recording studio. This output emulates the sound of a mic’d speaker cabinet, making it easy to record with realistic amp sounds even when using a direct-line connection.
Use a foot switch to change channels or turn effects on/off
By using a separately sold footswitch, you can change channels, turn reverb on/off, or switch send/return on/off using your foot. You can also use it to switch between MASTER 1 and MASTER 2, and instantly change the master volume level itself. Two footswitches can be connected, allowing you to smoothly transition from a rhythm part to a solo, which is a real convenience during live performances.

This pedal boasts up to 900ms of delay time with a full array of controls to tweak the parameters of your delay signal, including tap tempo, note subdivision, and modulation.
This pedal can be powered by a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies (not included).
The Long Story
The Way Huge Supa-Puss Analog Delay was designed by delay master Jeorge Tripps for exploring the farthest reaches of true analog delay potential, featuring an eternity of delay time and fine control over numerous parameters of your delay signal.
Tripps equipped this pedal with a total of six bucket-brigade chips, delivering up to 900 milliseconds of delay time. With the Tap Tempo switch, you can program in real time up to three full seconds of delay time for ethereal ambience. The Subdivision control allows you to set how your repeats are subdivided, and by switching to the unique Chase mode, you can set your repeats to cycle through each of the Subdivision values in different ways for maximum freak-out effects.
In addition to standard Delay and Feedback controls, Tripps included several controls for fine-tuning the sound of your repeats: Tone for shaping color, Gain for adding grit, and Speed and Depth controls for adding shimmering, liquid textures with the Supa-Puss Analog Delay's LFO modulation circuit. For even further tweakability, Tripps added a true Mix control so you can set your desired blend of wet and dry signals.
Finally, the Supa-Puss Analog Delay has an expression pedal jack so you hook up an expression pedal for continuous, real-time control over the Supa-Puss' delay time.
