The 14x7 Yamaha Recording Custom Stainless Steel Snare Drum (RLS1470) is one of Yamaha's finest snare drums, designed with Steve Gadd's valuable input. The center bead on the outside of the drum produces a more open sound for crisp, articulate performance. This Yamaha snare drum features a 1.2mm stainless steel shell, 45-degree bearing edges, 2.3mm Dyna Hoops, Q type throw-off, DC3 type butt-plate, 25-strand snare wires, and a coated Ambassador drumhead by Remo.
