Gibson Custom 1962 ES-330 Reissue Electric Guitar - Sixties Cherry

Gibson

$ 5,999.00 $ 7,198.00

Gibson instruments have evolved in subtle ways throughout their histories, and the ES-330™ is no exception. First launched in 1959, the model underwent several updates by the time 1962 arrived. Although it shares clear DNA with its close relative, the Epiphone Casino™, the ES-330 actually came first, with the Casino debuting in 1961. After an eight-year pause, Gibson Custom is pleased to reintroduce the 1962 ES-330 Reissue as a core offering within the Gibson Custom Historic Reissue Collection.

This new 1962 ES-330 Reissue features a fully hollow, thinline body constructed from three-ply maple/poplar/maple. Unlike the visually similar ES-335, the ES-330 does not incorporate a maple centerblock, which gives it a more open, resonant character, as well as impressive acoustic presence when played unplugged. It remains one of the most enjoyable and inspiring electric guitars to pick up casually and play acoustically at home.

Its one-piece mahogany neck is shaped to a Slim Taper™ 60s C profile, a sleeker and less rounded feel compared to the 1959 ES-330 examples. A bound, one-piece rosewood fretboard carries 22 period-correct medium jumbo frets and features cellulose small-block inlays in place of the simpler dot markers found on earlier variants. True to 1962 specifications, the neck meets the body at the 16th fret, a detail that ensures ideal bridge placement.

A set of P-90 pickups with black Dogear covers drives the 1962 ES-330 Reissue. The bridge unit uses standard windings paired with an Alnico 3 magnet, while the neck pickup is underwound and fitted with an Alnico 5 magnet, producing a complementary and well-balanced tonal partnership. Each pickup is wired by hand to its own volume and tone controls, using CTS® potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors. A Switchcraft® three-way selector and 1/4" output jack round out the electronics.

As with any fully hollow instrument, increased gain or extreme stage volume can induce feedback more readily than on solidbody or semi-hollow guitars. Still, the ES-330 remains surprisingly manageable with moderate overdrive, and its responsiveness under careful right and left-hand muting creates a singing, expressive voice that sets it apart. Its strengths span Americana, blues, 60s pop, country, jazz, rock, and more.

Additional historically accurate elements include nickel hardware, a Historic no-wire ABR-1 bridge, a trapeze tailpiece, a nylon nut, Kluson® Deluxe tuners, an ES-330 multi-ply pickguard, and black Top Hat knobs with silver inserts and dial pointers. The VOS finish on the hardware and gloss nitrocellulose lacquer imparts the softly aged character of a pristine vintage instrument preserved through the decades.

We're excited to welcome the 1962 ES-330 Reissue back into the Gibson Custom Historic lineup and look forward to the music today's players will create with it. A Lifton ™ hardshell case is included for secure storage and travel.

Gibson Custom 1971 Medallion V Reissue Electric Guitar - Cherry

Gibson

Sold Out $ 5,998.00

Gibson Custom proudly unveils the 1971 Flying VT Medallion Reissue, an exactingly crafted tribute to one of Gibson's most celebrated vintage solidbody models and a guitar that played a pivotal role in defining hard rock.Closely associated with Michael Schenker's unmistakable tone, original examples are also well represented in Kirk Hammett's personal collection; he has described them as "consistently great."

The 1971 Flying V Medallion Reissue features a two-piece mahogany body constructed to the same thinner profile used on the original Medallion models. At approximately 1.375" thick, it is slightly slimmer than the 1.5" Korina Flying V bodies from 1958, resulting in reduced weight and a more comfortable playing experience without sacrificing tone or resonance.

Its three-piece mahogany neck is carved to an Authentic 1971 Flying V profile, offering a sleek, fast feel that remains comfortable across the entire fingerboard. A period-correct volute adds structural stability, while a one-piece rosewood fretboard carries 22 authentic medium jumbo frets and classic cellulose dot inlays. The rounded Flying V headstock is fitted with a Corian® nut, Kluson® double-ring tuners with keystone buttons, and a truss rod cover bearing the Gibson logo. Chrome-plated hardware is used throughout, including the Historic Reissue wired ABR-1 bridge and Historic Reissue Stop Bar tailpiece.

Electronics consist of a matched pair of authentic T-Top humbucker™ pickups with Alnico 5 magnets, delivering the clear, authoritative output that vintage T-Tops are known for. As on the original guitars, the pickups are left unpotted and are hand-wired to independent volume controls and a single master tone control. All three controls feature black Witch Hat knobs with silver reflectors for a true period look.

In keeping with the original Medallion Flying Vs, this reissue includes a 1.5" diameter gold medallion mounted on the bass-side wing of the body. Each medallion displays the Gibson logo and Limited Edition Model text and is individually numbered. The guitar is housed in a Gibson Custom hardshell case for protection and transport.

The 1971 Flying V Medallion is widely regarded as one of the most desirable vintage Gibson guitar models ever produced. With an estimated production run of only about 350 instruments in 1971, scarcity has played a role in its legend, but its enduring appeal also stems from its association with some of rock music's most influential guitarists. Originally created to commemorate the 1972 Olympic Games, each Medallion V featured a numbered gold coin mounted to the upper wing. These guitars were among Gibson's earliest Limited Edition offerings and, apart from the recent Michael Schenker 1971 Fling V Collector's Edition, have not been reissued until now. This release offers a rare chance to own a brand-new recreation of a true Gibson icon.

Gibson Custom Billy Gibbons "Pearly Gates" 1959 Les Paul Standard Collector's Edition w/Brazilian Rosewood, (PG11) Signed - Pearly Burst

Gibson

$ 74,999.00 $ 79,998.00

A divine connection

In 1968, a young Billy F Gibbons and a few friends owned a 1936 Packard and loaned it to an aspiring actress friend who needed a car to drive from Texas to Hollywood for a movie audition. They didn’t think the car would make it out of Texas, but she made it all the way to Hollywood and got the part. Figuring the car must have divine connections, they named it Pearly Gates. When asked what they wanted her to do with the car, they told her to sell it. She wired the money back to Texas, and with Billy’s $250 share of the proceeds, he purchased a near-mint 1959 Les Paul™ Standard from a Houston-area rancher. Again, divine providence seemed to be at work, and the car’s nickname was transferred to the guitar.

Now, Gibson Custom is incredibly proud to partner with Billy Gibbons on the Billy Gibbons “Pearly Gates” 1959 Les Paul Standard Collector’s Edition. Based on in-depth examination and cutting-edge 3D scans and precise measurements of the priceless vintage original (Billy has famously turned down an offer of five million dollars for Pearly Gates), and artfully aged to match the current condition of Billy’s guitar by the Murphy Lab, it isn’t just a recreation of the original guitar; it is a virtual clone of it.

The Billy Gibbons Pearly Gates 1959 Les Paul Standard features a lightweight, one-piece mahogany body with a two-piece AAA figured maple top, hand-selected to match Pearly Gates’ top as closely as possible. The top’s contours, as with the rest of the build, were replicated using 3D scans of the original guitar.

The profile of the one-piece mahogany neck was also recreated in precise detail, giving these recreations the same amazing playing feel that Billy Gibbons has enjoyed for decades. The bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and aged cellulose trapezoid inlays.

Not only the nitrocellulose lacquer finish, but also the hardware has been expertly aged by the Murphy Lab, including the ABR-1 Historic no-wire bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, the Kluson® Deluxe single-line, single-ring tuners, and all plastic components.

Gibson Pickup Shop Product Manager Jared Brandon extensively examined the original Gibson P.A.F. humbucker™ pickups, so named by guitarists for the Patent Applied For stickers on their undersides, in Pearly Gates. They are recreated here in exacting detail based on 3D scans and scientific analysis of the originals, with Murphy Lab-aged covers and mounting rings, Alnico 3 (rhythm) and Alnico 5 (treble) magnets, Double Vintage White bobbins, and historic-spec plain enamel wire, delivering the Billy Gibbons-approved tone that has propelled countless hit recordings.

Utilizing the legendary acoustic properties of authentic Brazilian rosewood, we have created an instrument that honors the past while setting a new benchmark for the future. All of the other details, from the hand-applied replica aging to the cloned pickups and period-correct appointments, serve one purpose: to put the soul and tone of “Pearly Gates” in the hands of players and collectors. To cement its status as an heirloom, each of the 30 instruments in this exceptional limited run will be hand-signed by Billy Gibbons himself.

The sound of ZZ Top has one constant: Miss Pearly Gates, the famous 1959 Les Paul Standard wielded by guitarist Billy Gibbons, has been the band’s tonal cornerstone since its inception and has appeared on every ZZ Top album. Billy’s guitar collection is one of the most extensive and enviable on the planet, but his Holy Grail, his favorite guitar that he turns to time and again, is Miss Pearly Gates. While his guitar collection has grown over the years as he’s searched for another guitar to rival the sound and feel of Pearly Gates, he’s never found one that could do so. Now, Gibson Custom has captured the exact physical DNA of perhaps the most famous 1959 Les Paul Standard in existence. Here’s your opportunity to get as close as humanly possible to the heavenly tone and feel of the famous Pearly Gates. An aged Lifton™ hardshell case, guitar strap, and certificate of authenticity are also included.

Gibson Custom is giving collectors and fans the chance to take a step closer to tone heaven with a strictly limited Gibson Custom Billy Gibbons “Pearly Gates” 1959 Les Paul Standard Collector’s Edition hand-signed guitar and event package, which includes an invitation to attend an exclusive evening with Billy Gibbons at the Gibson Garage Nashville. The evening will be the ultimate fan experience and include a private Q&A with Billy Gibbons, an intimate live performance, a personal meet-and-greet and individual photo opportunity, and more. Access to the Billy Gibbons Pearly Gates Experience is reserved exclusively for the 30 purchasers of the Collector’s Edition guitar. Gibson Custom Jeff Beck "Yardburst" 59 Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar - Dark Cherry Sunburst

Gibson

$ 12,000.00

Jeff Beck is gone but never forgotten – widely considered one of the best guitarists in history, capable of playing virtually anything in his own unique, soulful style. And like Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton, Beck got his start playing the Yardbirds, making groundbreaking music on a ’59 Les Paul Standard, which he continued to use and share with the likes of Page and Keith Richards, as documented in many photographs.

The “YardBurst” is as indelible to Jeff Beck’s playing history as his Oxblood Les Paul. Its unique and highly identifiable traits include classic white bobbin humbuckers and a black single ply pickguard. This recreation is true to how it appeared during Jeff’s hallowed Yardbirds days, with a custom Murphy Lab aging treatment, a custom hardshell case, and case candy commemorating the life of the legend that is Jeff Beck.

Gibson Custom LE 1957 Les Paul Reissue w/ TV Jones Powertron Electric Guitar - Gold Sparkle

Gibson

$ 6,599.00 $ 7,886.00

A 1957 Les Paul Reissue with Power’Tron pickups and some sparkle in its top

The 1957 Les Paul™ Reissue with TV Jones Power’Tron, VOS, Gold Sparkle Top brings a bold new voice to one of Gibson’s most beloved classics. Part of the Gibson Custom Limited Edition Collection, it represents the adventurous spirit that has defined countless Made to Measure custom orders and celebrates the skill and imagination of the artisans at the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. This reissue channels the unmistakable charisma of a late 50s Les Paul, then elevates it with a dazzling Gold Sparkle finish and a unique electronic configuration that gives it a sonic identity all its own.

The solidbody construction begins with a mahogany back and a carved maple top, joined with the same precision and using the same materials as those used on prized originals from the late 50s. Its VOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish brings a softly aged character that enhances the Gold Sparkle top’s depth and dimension, while the single ply top binding completes the classic Les Paul silhouette. There’s no weight relief—just the full, expressive resonance of traditional tonewoods working in harmony.

The mahogany neck’s 1950s Chunky D profile delivers the substantial feel players associate with some of the best examples from 1957, with a long neck tenon that reinforces sustain and stability. A rosewood fretboard with narrow/tall frets, cellulose trapezoid inlays, single ply binding, and a 12 inch radius offers an inviting, vintage correct playing experience. The 24.75-inch scale length, nylon nut, and Kluson® Deluxe tuning machines round out a period-authentic feature set.

What truly sets this Limited Edition model apart is its use of TV Jones® Power’Tron pickups. While a 1957 Les Paul Reissue is typically voiced with Custombucker humbuckers designed to replicate Patent Applied For pickups, the Power’Tron delivers a distinctive sound of its own. Its tonal character carries some of the familiar DNA of a Patent Applied For humbucking pickup, infused with elements found in a TV Jones Filter’Tron, but with more windings, higher output, and a darker overall response than a Filter’Tron. The result is a compelling hybrid voice—full, articulate, dynamic, and well-suited to the Les Paul’s rich acoustic foundation. Two volume and two tone controls, along with a three-way toggle, provide familiar, intuitive control of this unique sonic palette.

Nickel hardware, an ABR 1 Tune O Matic™ bridge, a Stop Bar tailpiece, cream plastics, gold Top Hat knobs, and nickel pickup covers contribute to a classic late 50s aesthetic. Each instrument includes a Lifton™ reissue hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity.

This Limited Edition model captures the soul of a 1957 Les Paul while offering a fresh, powerful voice—proving that tradition and innovation can shine brilliantly together.

It’s paired with a rosewood fretboard featuring cellulose trapezoid inlays, narrow/tall frets, a 12-inch radius, and a period correct nylon nut.

At the heart of this reissue are a pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups with Double Classic White bobbins—no covers, pure attitude. This pickup set is celebrated for its airy top end, sweet midrange bloom, and dynamic responsiveness, echoing the tonal character of the earliest Patent Applied For–era humbuckers™. From warm cleans to growling overdrive, these Custombuckers emphasize nuance and musicality, and are paired with two volume and two tone controls and a three-way toggle switch.

The hardware includes an ABR 1 Tune O Matic™ bridge, a Stop Bar tailpiece, Kluson® Deluxe tuners, cream plastics, and heavy aged nickel-plated components aged to match the guitar’s aesthetic. Each instrument includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a Lifton™ reissue hardshell case.
