The PRS Standard harkens back to Paul Reed Smith’s pre-factory all-mahogany guitars. Its all-mahogany construction promotes a warm, full, midrange-forward tone, and its “sinky” satin nitro finish brings a stripped-down look and roadworthy feel to the instrument.
The PRS Standard 24 features many classic PRS specifications, including a 25” scale length, Pattern Thin neck with a 24-fret, 10” radius rosewood fretboard, PRS Patented Tremolo, and PRS Phase III tuners with unplated brass shafts.
Under the hood, the PRS Standard 24 is outfitted with PRS DMO treble and bass pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. PRS DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) pickups have a “wide open” sound with vocal character, meaning they deliver clear, pleasant-sounding tones across a wide range of frequencies (bass to treble) in each pickup. DMO pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team. From our own hands-on research into coveted vintage pickup models to advancements in signal analyzation and “tuning” technology, these pickups incorporate every detail of pickup knowledge PRS has gained in recent years of R&D.
Raise your standards with this stage- and studio-ready guitar.

“With the PRS SE Chleo, we set out to create the best affordable guitar that delivers a unique combination of effortless playability, outstanding craftsmanship, and versatile tonal range. It combines modern innovations with classic style, giving players the tools they need to create everything from classic tones to cutting edge new sounds. The SE Chleo proves that a world-class instrument doesn’t have to break the bank—it’s a guitar that brings high-end performance within reach for everyone.”
– Herman Li, DragonForce
The PRS SE Chleo is the result of an intimate collaboration between PRS Guitars and award-winning guitar player Herman Li. Li, best known for his work as one of the lead guitar players in the power metal band DragonForce, is a demanding guitarist known for his fast and precise playing style. Based on the exclusive 2025 PRS Chleo Limited Edition, this SE signature model is a unique guitar in the PRS lineup designed with the modern metal guitarist in mind.
The PRS SE Chleo features a maple top and mahogany back with maple neck and ebony fretboard. The body features a sculpted carve that allows it to be very thin and very lightweight overall, so you can play longer and with more energy. The neck shape and neck joint were specially designed to be comfortable and fast. The neck is very thin front-to-back with a slightly taller playing surface and 20” fretboard radius, and the added high-modulus carbon fiber strength rods ensure a strong neck that promotes sustain. The fretboard features “Eclipse Dragon” inlays, and PRS’s trademark scoop has also been modified for ultimate access to the upper frets. All this plus a Floyd Rose locking tremolo mean you can dig in and play hard without sacrifice.
The PRS SE Chleo boasts the same signature pickups as the Limited Edition that preceded it. The Fishman Fluence Signature Series Omniforce Herman Li pickups feature copper-free layered PCB’s for consistency and no-hum tones. With three distinct voices and a versatile switching system, the guitar offers up to 13 unique tone combinations. From fat, aggressive rhythm tones to smooth, warm leads, soaring screams, and crystal-clear single-coil sounds, these pickups cover it all. The performance-friendly control layout makes it easy to switch between tones on the fly. Whether you’re using high-gain tube amps, modern amp modelers, or DAW plugins, the Chleo’s pickups are built to shine across any setup.
Push boundaries and forge your own ground with the PRS SE Chleo.

The SE Hollowbody II Piezo combines the balanced, clear, resonant tone of a hollowbody instrument with the power and stability of a solid-body electric guitar. Constructed with a maple back and top with mahogany sides, the SE Hollowbody II Piezo offers a light shimmer and snap in an attractive package. The 58/15 “S” pickups deliver clarity and balance that sound big and musical in a hollowbody platform.
Boasting an LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system, the SE Hollowbody II Piezo provides musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric tones in one instrument. The instrument is designed with two discrete volume controls (magnetics and piezo) and output jacks (mix/piezo and magnetics). Players can plug into the “Mix/Piezo” jack and use the individual volume controls to blend the 58/15 “S” pickups with the piezo’s acoustic tones. Alternatively, players can plug into the jacks separately, so the guitar can run magnetic pickups into an amp and run the piezo through an acoustic amp or DI into the soundboard. When using the magnetic output jack in isolation, the piezo battery is bypassed completely, acting as a failsafe (in this scenario, the magnetic pickups still work even if the piezo battery has run out of juice). This is the most versatile SE instrument in the Series twenty-year history.

The PRS SE McCarty 594 is designed to capture the essence of vintage guitar tones while delivering modern reliability. Named after Ted McCarty, the legendary guitar pioneer who influenced Paul Reed Smith’s early designs, this model strikes a balance between classic character and contemporary playability. This limited edition features a striking laurel burl veneer, adding a unique look to this popular model.
At its core, the SE McCarty 594 features a mahogany body with a maple top, combining warmth and sustain with a touch of brightness. The Pattern Vintage mahogany neck provides a familiar yet refined feel, while the rosewood fingerboard, adorned with PRS bird inlays, offers smooth playability across all 22 frets. The 24.594” scale length—just slightly shorter than typical PRS models—contributes to its vintage feel, adding to the guitar’s natural warmth and character.
Equipped with PRS 58/15 LT “S” pickups, the SE McCarty 594 Laurel Burl Limited Edition delivers clarity and fullness in equal measure. These pickups are designed to evoke the tones of the iconic instruments from the ‘50s, with the ability to handle both clean and overdriven settings with ease. The push/pull tone controls further enhance the guitar’s versatility, allowing players to access both humbucking and single-coil tones in one instrument. With a two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners, the SE McCarty 594 Laurel Burl Limited Edition offers solid intonation and tuning stability.
Only 500 of these instruments will be made for 2025.

The PRS SE NF 53 is a powerful, modern guitar inspired by classic tones and design. Built on the foundation of a swamp ash body and 22-fret, 25.5” scale length bolt-on maple neck and fretboard, the PRS SE NF 53 embodies the spirit of the electric guitar in the most timeless way. The addition of PRS Narrowfield DD “S” pickups brings a lot of power and musicality without the hum, making this guitar uniquely PRS.
PRS Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) “S” pickups are made with taller bobbins to fit more winds and extra metal pieces in between the magnets for a focused, powerful tone. The “S” variation of these pickups brings articulate low-end tones and the snarl and twang you’d expect from this instrument – all as a noiseless humbucker, making it extremely receptive to gain. Paired with a volume and tone control and 3-way blade pickup switch, the SE NF 53 allows players to easily dial in their sound. “The SE Paul’s Guitar is a great example of design, engineering, and teamwork. It’s as close to home as we could get inside of the SE Series, and I am very proud of it,” - Paul Reed Smith
The SE Paul’s Guitar delivers a lot of “PRS,” starting with tone and versatility. The TCI “S” treble and bass pickups deliver a pure, vintage sound. The SE Paul’s Guitar also features two mini-toggle switches between the volume and tone knobs, which enable you to coil tap both pickups independently, yielding eight total pickup combinations. The PRS stoptail bridge is the same machined stoptail with brass inserts as spec'd on the Core Paul's Guitar.
“The Paul’s Guitar, like the Modern Eagle before it, has always been about Paul’s latest discoveries in guitar making. To bring this guitar into the SE Series, we knew the tone, functionality, and playability had to be right and had to be consistent,” said Jack Higginbotham, COO, PRS Guitars. “We feel this guitar offers a lot of value to players.”

The SE Zach Myers is packed with features that will satisfy even the most demanding musicians. Featuring a chambered mahogany body with maple cap, flame maple veneer, and single f-hole, the SE Zach Myers provides smooth mid-range tones with a natural, resonant internal reverb. The resonance of the semi-hollow body paired with the smooth feel of the satin finish neck will make an immediate impression in your hands. Additional appointments to the SE Zach Myers signature model include a 22-fret, 24.594” scale length neck, PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, vintage-style tuners, and PRS-designed 245 “S” pickups paired with two volume and two tone controls and a 3-way toggle pickup switch. These pickups bring high-end clarity, low-end power, and an overall aggressive punch that maintains a certain sweetness.
Zach Myers, lead guitarist of the multi-platinum rock band Shinedown, picked up a PRS Custom 22 at the age of fifteen and announced his first SE signature model in 2010. As a guitarist who has rocked PRS on stage and teched for several PRS bands, Myers has an intimate understanding of how a guitar should feel and what the build quality should be. Those details have again created an eye-popping player’s guitar that can take a beating.
“When I was younger, I always wanted a “Private Stock” guitar, but I couldn’t afford one. When I told Paul the SE Zach Myers reminded me of that, he laughed, but also slightly agreed. The goal of the PRS SE Zach Myers has always been to make a guitar that stood out in the long line of amazing, affordable guitars that is the SE Series. The appointments we selected for this guitar, I feel, make it one of the best guitars you buy on the market right now – no matter the price point…even though this guitar is priced for everyone to afford. I hope players of all styles and levels enjoy it.” – Zach Myers

The PRS Special Semi-Hollow offers players a versatile hum/”single”/hum configuration with two PRS McCarty III humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield middle pickup.
McCarty III pickups were spec’d by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team. From our own hands-on research into coveted vintage pickup models to advancements in signal analyzation and “tuning” technology, these pickups incorporate every detail of pickup knowledge PRS has gained in recent years of R&D. PRS McCarty III pickups are vintage-inspired humbuckers that bring a vocal clarity to their full, warm tone. PRS Narrowfield pickup in the middle position delivers the bite of a single coil, so it cuts through the mix with plenty of clarity and punch – but without the hum.
Paired with a 5-way blade switch and two mini-toggles that tap the McCarty III humbuckers, this guitar can handle myriad sounds and styles (with twelve pickup combinations in total). Roll back the tone control for added growl, turn it up for some shimmer, and have fun exploring this versatile tonal palette. The volume level between the humbucking and single-coil settings remains very even, and the semi-hollow body with single f-hole provides a welcome airiness and depth to the guitar’s tone.
Additional specifications on the PRS Special Semi-Hollow include a maple top, mahogany back, 22-fret 25” scale length mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, and the PRS Gen III patented tremolo.

This classic 12-string design comes standard with three vintage reissue pickups, stereo output, trapeze tailpiece, vintage knobs and f-hole. Double body binding and pearlescent inlays add a refined touch. X-bracing in the body helps to bring out the full, rich and warm sounds these instruments are known for. The 1993Plus also features Rickenbacker's master variable tone control. This fifth knob allows you to fine tune the EQ between the bass and treble pickups, in a variety of ways and with some unique characteristics.
The haunting, melodic chorus characteristics of Rickenbacker 12-strings continue to benefit from evolution. The original 1993 design was once exclusive to the British distributor Rose Morris in the sixties.
