The D12 VR is a large-diaphragm cardioid dynamic microphone. Designed specifically for kick-drum recording applications, the microphone has a thin diaphragm to enhance the low frequency performance. Its predecessors have been the industry standard in kick drum mics for decades. The D12 and subsequently the D12E and the D112 have been the choice of drummers and the live sound engineers who love them since 1950.
Without phantom power, the microphone delivers the pure character of the sound source. With phantom power enabled, one of three switchable active-filter presets can be used to quickly adapt the microphone response to suit the desired kick-drum sound. The filter setting can be controlled using a switch on the microphone body. In this mode the output level is also reduced by 10 dB automatically.
Check it out. The latest version of a classic. It has retained the attributes of the original but taken advantage of modern innovations. Vintage and modern have just met up, and they have done so in front of the kick drum head.

For many years, we've had live sound engineers utilizing our studio microphones and Reflexion Filters® on stages all over the world with acts like Linkin Park, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, Paramore, My Morning Jacket, and many, many more.
With vast knowledge gained through working with countless engineers and bands, we have finally entered into the world of dynamic mics with the V Series - built to withstand rigorous touring schedules, while still performing better than anything else in their class.
The V7's road-ready design is all metal - no plastic parts here. The chassis' high quality, highly durable zinc alloy is designed to hold up under on-stage stress for years, and the spring steel mesh grille is dent-proof and corrosion-free for perfect reliability.
Also, see that beveled edge around the grille? That prevents your mic from rolling around when you put it down on top of your amp or the stage floor. (It's the little things that count.)
The V7's gold-plated XLR connector also ensures a loss-free and reliable signal connection for years to come.
Efficiently reduces unwanted wind noise and plosive pops....and just in case you don't like our stylish "sE Red" color, we've included a spare black windscreen in the box for you.
The DMC7 dynamic element in the V7 has been custom-developed for a crisp, open sound that perfectly captures your voice in the most natural way you've ever heard on stage - and its sophisticated supercardioid capsule design helps isolate your voice from other instruments, ensuring vast amounts of gain before feedback.
Proven Neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances & high-end workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, superior sound quality and superb consistency.
The V7's brand new, patented shockmount efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, providing exceptionally low handling noise as compared to other mics in its class. This means you can feel free to move around on stage without fear of rumbles, pops, or anything other than your voice coming through.

If you want to capture a classic look, you need the gear to match the genre. Nothing completes the style quite like the 55SH Series II, a microphone that has been gripped by legends for decades. Others may imitate, but none can duplicate the form and function standards Shure has held from our first Unidyne mic to our latest.
Built on the hardware of our seminal Unidyne 55 microphone, the look of the 55SH Series II transports you to a classic era. Whether you recreate the broadcasting golden age or sing with the hip-swinging swagger of the birth of rock n’ roll, this is the mic that makes the scene.
The cardioid directional pattern captures the exact sound you want, regardless of acoustic environment. So it’s perfect for live performance in a variety of venues.
The shock-mounted cartridge minimises stand noise. So swing while you sing. It can handle the motion.
Microphones get dropped, tossed and knocked around. We know. We’ve been making them for nearly a century. It’s why we built the 55SH Series II with a rugged, die-cast casing, so it’s always ready for the next show.
