Our cutaway acoustic/electric Grand Auditorium 414ce-R has long been a staple of gigging and recreational players thanks to its musical versatility and clean, workmanlike aesthetic. Crafted with back and sides of solid Indian Rosewood and a solid Sitka spruce top, the 414ce-R now also features our V-Class bracing, a game-changing sonic engine that powers these tonewoods to produce more volume, longer sustain, and stronger projection. The more orderly movement of the top, courtesy of the new bracing design, also improves the intonation up and down the neck, making chords sing like never before, without sour notes or the “rub” of slight dissonance within certain chords. The difference comes through loud and clear, whether you’re on the couch, recording into a mic, or plugged in at a gig. The Rosewood/Sitka pairing yields a mix of powerful midrange frequencies, strong, clear treble notes, and deep yet balanced lows, and together with V-Class, make this a superb all-around guitar. Fingerpickers, flatpickers and strummers each will find something to love here. Appointments include crisp white binding, Renaissance fretboard/peghead inlays in Italian acrylic, and proprietary ES2 electronics. The guitar ships in a deluxe hardshell case.
Crafted with hand-pleasing design features, an ear-pleasing tonewood pairing and a suite of celebratory appointments, the 50th Anniversary Builder’s Edition 314ce LTD offers exceptional comfort, playability, tone and aesthetics. This ultra-refined version of one of the best-selling U.S.-made acoustics boasts a bevy of comfort-enhancing features: a beveled armrest and cutaway, chamfered body edges and a contoured Curve Wing bridge. Urban Ash back and sides, responsibly sourced from Southern California, produce midrange power and balance akin to high-quality Honduran mahogany. Together with a solid Sitka spruce top, this model offers a warm, punchy midrange, crisp trebles and impressive low-end presence. The body sports a firestripe pickguard and our smooth, muted-sheen Silent Satin finish. Like other 50th Anniversary Collection guitars, this versatile cutaway Grand Auditorium features a commemorative label inside, ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots and premium Gotoh 510 antique gold tuners. It comes with ES2 electronics and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
The 512ce is one of our first models to feature back and sides of solid Urban Ironbark, a dense, hard tonewood that yields a rich, sophisticated response with a deep low end and high-fidelity voice reminiscent of Indian rosewood, along with some of mahogany's midrange punch and focus. The Grand Concert 512ce pairs Urban Ironbark with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, lending a played-in character that makes for a warm, piano-like sound with remarkable balance across the tonal spectrum. With V-Class bracing inside, this compact acoustic-electric serves up room-filling projection and blooming sustain, offering a muscular quality that remains sensitive to a soft touch. Appointments include new Aerial inlays in Italian acrylic, a single-ring abalone rosette trimmed with maple and black purfling, and a tastefully subtle edgeburst. It ships with ES2 electronics in a deluxe hardshell guitar case.

Among Taylor’s rosewood/spruce guitars, the 900 Series has always projected an aura of high-end sophistication, showcasing a detail-rich aesthetic and the most refined levels of Taylor craftsmanship. This model run goes one step further, showcasing a gorgeous tobacco sunburst top treatment that amplifies the visual appeal of the sparkling paua abalone top trim. A lush redesign of the series has brought a sleek and comfortable hand-carved beveled ebony armrest to the series, along with the same sweeping array of tonal-enhancing refinements first applied to the 800 Series. On the 914ce, the Grand Auditorium’s all-around versatility has been punched up to produce a more powerful bass response and a warmer, sweeter midrange. The refreshed appointment scheme boasts a beautifully calibrated balance of ebony binding and koa purfling, together with colorful abalone shell inlays and trim. Additional features include a Venetian cutaway and Taylor’s Expression System® 2 pickup. The guitar ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
One of the biggest reasons budding guitarists lose interest in learning and playing the guitar is due to the lack of quality, playability and sound of many entry-level instruments. Keeping this in mind, Taylor is proud to introduce the Academy Series of instruments, which gives students and beginners an affordable instrument that doesn't sacrifice in quality, playability and tone. Making a Taylor guitar more accessible than ever before, the Academy Series was developed with the novice guitarist in mind, but is equally suited for seasoned players that are looking for a budget-friendly option. Each Academy Series model boasts Taylor's signature sleek, hand-friendly necks, a comfortable armrest, great sound, and Taylor-quality construction.
Ideal for strummers and flatpickers on a budget, the Academy 10e A10e features a big-voiced Dreadnought body that's made from layered sapele back & sides with a solid Sitka spruce top to produce warm lows and a nice top-end punch. The A10e also features an ergonomic armrest, which offers an ultra-comfortable playing experience while adding an elegant look. The sapele neck offers an outstanding playing feel thanks to its slim profile design, shorter 24-7/8" scale length, narrower 1-11/16" nut width, low action, and light gauge strings. Ready to plug in and play? The Taylor A10e comes equipped with onboard ES-B electronics featuring Taylor Expression System 2 piezo design elements for superb plugged-in sound. The preamp also boasts a built-in digital chromatic tuner so that you can be sure your guitar's in tune. Comes complete with lightweight gig bag.

The A12eN produces a clear tone and impeccable intonation, plus this guitar is voiced to respond easily to a player’s touch. The underlying design goal of the series is to make the acoustic guitar accessible to more players by bringing Taylor’s legendary playability and tone into an affordable price range.
One of the benefits of a nylon-string guitar is that the light string tension is easy on the fingertips. Another inviting feature is a built-in armrest to enhance the playing comfort. Tonally, the wood pairing of layered sapele back and sides with a solid Lutz spruce top, together with the body’s internal bracing, project a warm, mellow nylon voice with crisp percussive appeal that suits a variety of musical styles and responds well to both fingerpicking and flatpicking.
The onboard ES-B pickup includes a convenient digital tuner with an LED display for tuning and low battery indication. Whether you’re a steel-string player looking to add an affordable nylon-string to your acoustic toolbox or crave a great-sounding acoustic guitar that’s easy on the hands and the wallet, the A12-N is an option well worth exploring.
ES-B Pickup/Preamp Combo The ES-B pickup incorporates Taylor’s Expression System® 2 piezo design elements and features an onboard preamp with a built-in digital chromatic tuner. The preamp/tuner unit features an LED display for tuning and low battery indication, along with Tone and Volume controls. The preamp/tuner is powered by two button cell 3v lithium (CR2032) batteries. Two new batteries will provide approximately 300 hours of use. The ES-B conserves battery life using a standard on/off system that will automatically turn off if left on over 3 minutes. A low battery indicator on the LED display (located on the preamp circuit board) will display an “L” when the battery reaches 4.5 volts.
Enhanced Playability Our sleek, hand-friendly necks feature light-gauge strings and optimized dimensions for a slinky feel.
A Comfortable Armrest This ergonomic feature is built into the guitar body to offer a more relaxed and rewarding playing experience.
Quality Construction Our guitars are engineered to last a lifetime. Our patented neck and durable body design make these guitars easy to maintain.
Affordability An emphasis on design simplicity enabled us to produce a fully engineered Taylor guitar at an entry-level price.
This Grand Pacific model is the first of our round-shoulder dreadnoughts to feature back and sides of solid ovangkol, an African tonewood that shares rosewood’s warmth and brilliance with additional presence in the midrange. Topped with solid spruce, the AD17 serves up a blend of sparkle and clean low-end power, enhanced by V-Class bracing for greater volume, longer sustain, and a more in-tune sound. That seasoned, vintage-hued tone is reflected in this model’s strikingly classic look, with a natural top and a deep Urban Sienna color treatment for the ovangkol back and sides. Minimally decorated but finely crafted, the AD17 also features chamfered body edges, stained spruce edge trim, a three-ring rosette in Hawaiian koa, and a faux tortoiseshell pickguard.
