With a radiant transparent orange color treatment that highlights the gorgeous grain of its tonewoods, this custom model offers distinct visual charm and a unique playing experience. It features hand-selected back and sides of figured Big Leaf maple paired with a Sitka spruce top in a gloss-finished Grand Auditorium body crafted with the slightly shallower depth of our Grand Concert guitars, offering a more intimate, comfortable feel for a body style that’s already remarkably accommodating. Together, maple and spruce yield a clear, balanced voice that channels the nuances of each player's technique, with V-Class bracing inside to generate impressive volume and sustain with improved intonation along the entire fretboard. An engraved Z-Glide neck makes fretting a breeze up and down the neck while adding a striking visual cue. Standout details include a Florentine cutaway, white binding, Artist fretboard inlays in mother of pearl and green abalone, and a mother-of-pearl peghead logo. Outfitted with Taylor gold tuners and an ES2 pickup for amplified play, this custom build ships in a lightweight, durable brown AeroCase.
